Many Will Be Deceived By Rapture Theology

Many movies have been made and many books have been written which describe a fantasy world where all of the Christians have disappeared and gone to heaven, and then the tribulation occurs. This doctrine, also known as the “pre-tribulation rapture”, meaning a rapture of Christians before the Great Tribulation, is not actually described in the Bible. In fact, this fantasy will send many people to hell, because they will be deceived when the great tribulation comes and they do not disappear like in the movies.

The only passages which are used to refer to a “rapture” event are in Matthew 24:36-44, 1 Corinthians 15:51-52, and 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, but the word “rapture” is not in the Bible, and none of these passages actually talk about a pre-tribulation rapture. Such theology is merely conjecture, and is completely unfounded. There is no biblical evidence for a pre-tribulation rapture. Other verses are often mentioned but you will find they do not even mention anything close to a rapture event (such as Revelation 11:15).

Let’s look at what Jesus said about this. Matthew 24:36-44 says,

36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

(Matthew 24:36-44)

But wait – clearly this says that one will be taken and the other left! Surely this must mean we will be raptured? No. Look carefully. Do not cherry-pick the verses, but read the surrounding verses to glean the context. This passage refers to the death and judgment on all evil people.

In the preceding verses, it says, not once but twice: “as in the days of Noah” and “until the day that Noah entered into the ark”. Were the people raptured in the days of Noah? No, all the evil people being referred to were all killed. They were drowned in the Great Flood.

At the end, after the Great Tribulation, the remaining Christians will be caught up in the air to meet with Christ. Then the Earth will be destroyed with everything on it. There will be great calamity, and they will be eating and drinking, and suddenly a great calamity will bring about their deaths.

This passage is not talking about Jesus returning to save the Christians and causing them to disappear to save them before the Great Tribulation, it is talking about Jesus returning to wreak justice on the world, and death to all the enemies of Christ. The passage context is clearly “as in the time of Noah”, in which “the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

The Bible explicitly said that it is talking about the death of the evil people by the return of Christ. It is “the flood” that is as the “coming of the Son of man”, not the ark. It is the death of evil people by God’s judgment on the world that is similar between the days of Noah and the days of the return of Christ. Jesus was merely describing that as in the time of Noah, when the return of Christ happens, it will be another judgment on the Earth where all the evil people are killed. Jesus was predicting the final apocalypse, not a “rapture” to first save the Christians from the apocalypse. I will explain the evidence for this in the following sections.

The next verse used is 1 Corinthians 15:51-52, but again you will find there is no evidence here for a pre-tribulation rapture.

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

(1 Corinthians 15:51-52)

This verse says nothing about a pre-tribulation rapture, or any rapture. It is referring to the transfiguration of those who are saved in Christ, and of the final resurrection of the dead. Yes, in the “twinkling of an eye” we will all be raised and shall be changed, but this will happen after the tribulation, not before.

Finally, let’s look at the other major verse used to promote a pre-tribulation rapture. 1 Thessalonians 4:14-17 says,

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

(1 Thessalonians 4:14-17)

But doesn’t this say clearly in verse 17 that we will be caught up in the air? Yes, but it doesn’t say that it will happen before judgment comes on the earth and the tribulation period of Revelation concludes.

When Christ returns, all the dead will rise and meet Him in the air, as well as those that remain living who are Christians. This is likely to happen at the end days at the end of the Tribulation period, before the earth is completely destroyed by fire.

The evidence for this is found in Revelation 20:5-6:

5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

The Bible says clearly that the dead are not raised until after the Great Tribulation, and after the following 1,000 years. Therefore it is evidenced that 1 Thessalonians 4:14-17 must be talking about the final resurrection of the dead, and all those that remain alive who are in Christ.

The thousand years in Revelation 20 is not before, but after all the great disasters of the Tribulation. This is after the 7 bowls, the 7 trumpets, a third of the sun and the moon and the oceans all turn to blood. Then after all these things up until Revelation 20, there will be a 1,000 year reign of Christ.

After this, then there will be a great war on Earth and the devil will be released from the great pit after these thousand years, and then finally, after this war, the devil will be “cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever” (Revelation 20:10).

Finally, in Revelation 20:12,

“the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.”

(Revelation 20:12)

This is the Great White Throne Judgment. It will not be until the end of the Great Tribulation and also the end of the Thousand Years that all the dead will be raised. Some of the Christians will be raised before the Thousand Years, but after the Great Tribulation, as shown in Revelation 20:4, which is called the “first resurrection” in Revelation 20:5. Then after the Thousand Years Reign of Christ, where many Christians serve as priests for these thousand years, then will be the second resurrection

Moreover, the Bible describes in Revelation 20:5 as the “first resurrection”, meaning this is the first time for the resurrection, and 1 Thessalonians 4:14-17 describes the dead in Christ being raised to meet the Lord in the air. This means that since the first time that the dead in Christ are resurrected is after the Tribulation, then 1 Thessalonians 4:14-17 cannot be talking about a pre-tribulation rapture, but rather a post-tribulation rapture (rapture post-, which means after the Tribulation ends).

The Bible is clear that the dead will not be raised and the living will not be “raptured” or caught up in the air with Christ until after the end of the Great Tribulation, which means after the mark of the beast, and the plagues, and the disasters of Revelation.

Now, whether all the Christians (or just the rest of them) will meet Christ in the air before or after the Thousand Years Reign is unclear, but what is clear is that the rapture will not happen until after the Tribulation, because Revelation 20 is evidence that no dead will be raised until after the Great Tribulation, which is the “first resurrection” of Revelation 20:5.

Here is the timeline:

  1. The Great Tribulation
  2. The First Resurrection (Resurrection of the Saints)
  3. The Thousand Years Reign of Christ
  4. The Great War with Satan
  5. Satan overthrown and cast into the Lake of Fire
  6. The Second Resurrection (Resurrection of all the dead)
  7. The Great White Throne Judgment

Why is pre-tribulation rapture so prevalent in our popular culture?

These verses given for pre-tribulation support do not actually support the pre-tribulation rapture. The word “rapture” is not found anywhere in the Bible, and there is no passage in the entire Bible that can be accurately used to support pre-tribulation rapture theology.

Why then do we have this story, and so many movies and books about it? It is the work of Satan to deceive millions of Christians into worshiping the Beast.

Why? How?

Millions of Christians will be deceived because they will think that the end times could not be at hand because they think they must first disappear and go to heaven before the end times come. This is false and unbiblical. In fact, they will be deceived into worshiping the Beast and his image because they will be deceived into thinking that the end times have not happened yet. This is how millions, possibly as many as a billion people will be deceived into worshiping the Beast and his image, and will be condemned to hell.

Beware! You will not first disappear before the end times. Every Christian still alive will endure the Tribulation period, and many will die during it. Many thousands of Christians will be martyred during this period, and will be given white robes in heaven (Revelation 7:13-14). There will not be any pre-tribulation rapture.

Instead, what there will be is apocalypse, and mass death, and calamity like the world has never seen. The world will eventually be destroyed and Christ will return to gather up all the dead and the remaining living Christians who survived, to meet Him in the air as our great King. The world will be destroyed by fire and a new heaven and a new earth will be made, and the New Jerusalem, the city of God, prepared for us, will descend from heaven as described in Revelation.

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

(Revelation 21:1-2)

Do not be deceived! Not even Christians will escape the end time Tribulation period, except through death, before or during. But fear not! For that which can destroy the body, cannot destroy the soul. Our souls will live on, and in paradise we will be transfigured like Jesus and our bodies will be made anew and perfect (Revelation 21:4). And we will live with Christ Jesus as our High Priest, and with God Himself with us to be our God (Revelation 21:3), forever.

  1. I don’t believe in a pre-trib never have and never will, for it goes against the theme of the Bible. All in the bible had to go through their own certain Tribulations. A Golden Idol that Nebuchadnezzar tried to make the Captured Judeans to bow and worship, to Daniels Night with Lions, to Joseph in Prison among other tribulations.

But just seen something from a Rapture site that uses the Church of Philadelphia as some statement towards not having to go through the time of temptation. I take it to mean the choice to not have to take the mark of the beast or not so I guess I should ask since that statement is in Revelations and not some older book like Daniel or even in some other new Testament book.

How would that play out in today’s society’s of the world where the Pandemic pretty much in in every Country, and a vaccine that is said to possibly be the mark of the beast?

Will that mean as with the seeing of the abomination of desolation those that are kept from that temptation because we as it says to do ran to the hills or mountains? Or as they say disappeared or something?

My take is this and this is something I never thought of before so the holy spirit could have lead me to see that page just now and this is what he’s trying to show me? But my take is this… that since the church but most don’t know that the use of church doesn’t mean some denomination or non-denomination it means people, and in most cases or some may mean all or none or some combination don’t go to church…

But my take with this new tidbit is this… They the church or Remnant people of Philadelphia not a church not it’s goers but people spread throughout the world will have ran to the wilderness at some point when just before the Vaccine is mandated or something?

OR somehow it won’t be mandated for them or something or what?
No! I do not believe billions or millions of people will disappear but upon seeing this on a different site it made me think…

But as I was going to say this is new knowledge and not seen before. NO! not that I have never read Revelations before and I have just recently read that in scripture for the third or more times already about the 7 churches in Revelations, but I had never associated that statement about not being further tested or kept from the coming temptation before.

In my witnessing I’ve been telling people about this vaccine and how it could be the mark of the beast since the name of Lucifer is in, in at least two of the runner ups that are being worked on. Meaning (Lucifer)ase is a component in Moderna’s Vaccine and Pfizer I believe. for both use Nanotechnology or possibly nanobots and for sure are using Modified RNA as their strategy.

Even though some say modifying RNA will not modify your DNA they are lying through their teeth. For when RNA breaks back down into it’s starting composition it’s still in the same room so to speak as your DNA and your DNA will absorb the chemicals that were used to modify the RNA to begin with, and most certainly will change the Code it send out when it goes to make more RNA.

I read up on it so I know or at least have an intelligent guess about all I read. Plus reverse transcription possible that will modify your DNA even if they are only using modified RNA technology the reverse is certainly plausible. RNA can also make DNA so yeah…

But the point it as in the days of Noah so shall the coming of the son of man be. In those days they had Giants. Not Seth and Cain’s offspring but actual fallen angels came to earth and mated with women and they had kids and those kids became Giants. This means they were Hybrids. Half Angel half man, and their DNA had then corrupted or been modified as with what the coming vaccine will or might be and do.
So… will we die then to be kept from this, run to the hills or some other supernatural protection take place to keep us from having to be injected with this godless vaccine?

What makes me think this way? for one masks have been used as the mark of the beast and those living in mandated states know or if they just go along since it’s easier to go along and maybe their false prophet leader told them it was ok to wear masks social distance and to do Facebook instead of going to church but I believe different.

Or could that be they key they think its ok so for them it is and in some weird way are being kept from the temptation? Meaning they believe it’s ok to wear masks even though it violates our freedom and or think Jesus told them to or something so by that way are being kept from it? Per Romans 14 or 15 or something where it does say for that person who thinks something is sin then for them it is. The reverse would have to be the truth too, those who think something isn’t sin then for them it’s not? I don’t know; I guess God does and we will find out.

But since there is no disappearance then to be kept from the temptation in the mark of the beast they are either dead, flew to the mountains, or somehow supernaturally protected by some shield or as in what I just said about they don’t believe something is sin so by their beliefs they may be safe???
Anyhow anyone want to run with that question or did I answer my own question?

  2. Romans 13 never said to obey the higher power, for the word power is mistranslated from the word Exousia and Exousia means Liberty not power, according to Strong’s.

So some of my other comment this may help to close some gaps as to why I say the things I said in the above. Plus per scripture itself and or the Holy spirit leading me for I asked it to lead me long before I even started to read scripture and have read the whole book three times now.

I don’t speak or type without knowing something about what I speak on even if it goes against tradition and traditionally taught areas. I as Daniel has said that in the end times people will go to and fro and knowledge will be increased, while this can mean the internet etc… Knowledge of truth is also what is going on. Laodicea and what they did was wrong as per Revelations as they are the spewed out church. Laodicea is spewed out for what they left out of cannon. As in the dead sea scrolls etc… The books of Jubilees, Asher/Jasher all should have been included for they all are God inspired. They as the same reason Jesus was killed they left those out for they took their power away from them.

It also takes away their manipulation to lead people so they didn’t cannon them. The Bible leaves out a whole lot of stuff and Jubilees, and the Book of Jasher/Asher helps fill in those blanks. Genesis 6 just says there were Giants in those days and after but doesn’t go into what all happened.

All of a sudden you have Abraham but no explanation as to where this guy came from etc… The book of Asher or Jasher depending on it’s name and location helps answer this. Then you have a really fragmented book of Giants from the dead sea scrolls, but enough survives to tell some kind of story about them being fearful as per Enoch and they’re pleading to be spared but weren’t.

Cannon scripture also does this and answers weather it was Seth or Cain’s offspring or Fallen angels. In Peter and in john it says if God himself didn’t spare the Angels not Seth and Cain but Angels and not Satan or Lucifer But Angels. It says if God didn’t spare the angels that sinned and reserved them for Judgement, and are in the Abyss now.

This means this because after that statement it goes on to talk about Noah and his family so it would not be talking about Seth and Cain’s offspring nor Satan if it goes on to talk about Noah. Plus with that the you can’t no longer use Angels don’t mate for if Scripture clears that up then you can’t. For they did. and are now reserved for Judgement.

SDA uses that I seen them talking about How it was Seth and Cains offspring but Peter and John makes clear it wasn’t talking about that. They and lots of other False prophet churches use the Angels can’t mate to explain their Seth Cain crap. but again scripture makes it clear they did.

For and this is the key once they fell they were no longer subject to the rules. Plus once they fell they were no longer immortal and again no longer to it’s rules so yes they did per scripture and other books that should have been cannoned.

To tie this in with Revelations and who or what the beast is this info helps do that as I have mentioned here. For the beast isn’t a man its men or mankind together as a man that makes it up. As per what the definition of the water beast which has nothing to do with a revived Roman Empire or anything like that.

But it’s Nations peoples and Tongues and multitudes not that it came from the sea as some or lots say but it came from water and the sea or water is Nations peoples tongues and Multitudes. The Nations people and Tongues and multitude make up the water or sea. As in Politics. People helped create the beast per politics which the beast comes up among the peoples nations tongues and multitudes.
it means we as one have made or created this beast by our opinions and or law/s.

The man of sin again is Govt not a individual but all together as one. As what Fred Sanford would say the man when he says this he isn’t speaking of just one individual he’s speaking of the Govt and those who make it up. Do you not know you are the temple this is how 2nd Thessalonians is fulfilled not some brick and mortar Temple being remade in Israel for a third time but us as in people who truly believe in Christ make up this rebuilt temple and it’s the holy spirit who lives in us. And it’s the enemy of God who is now already within this temple of mankind that now already calls himself as God is how that is fulfilled.

And we already play god this way now. But I believe with this Plandemic that is going on now which is a plague that is spoken of in Revelations and does encompass the whole world now, not some later date which most seem to want to keep pushing out until it matches what they have taught in-order to recognize it but now.

But the pale horse is riding now and may have been for a long time as well, but with this Plandemic and it’s implications with a vaccine that will more than likely change Peoples DNA could allow Satan to be injected into the body by either his name in the Luciferase or (Lucifer)ase that’s in this coming vaccine to copycat what God does with the Holy spirit since that is his thing is to with what he has, to be able to mimic God and his kingdom as closely as possible.

As in I will be as the most high and will rise above him etc… so yeah!

If Romans 13 didn’t say obey the higher power but to obey the higher liberty then what has been taught since Jesus has gave ground to the false prophet! One can’t have two masters either mankind is your master or Jesus is. If Satan be your master then render to him but if Jesus is your master then Render to him.

Or Render to Caesar if Caesar is your master but render to God if he is your master. which is what Jesus actually meant by that statement but not what has been taught. Which if Jesus had said that he would have been arrested and killed then and not later on as what was supposed to happen. But man translated that the way it’s been translated into so…

While wrong and evil I am convinced these happenings as they have happened were done so in Gods timing and way. Meaning Laodicea, while wrong and evil did so to fulfill Gods timing. OR as what Revelations 17 says he will input into them to give their power unto the beast until the word of God is fulfilled so…

Or as per Daniel was told to shut up the books Jubilees and Asher, or Asher was hidden in the dead sea until Israel became a nation again and can now be seen so we can know what they say and mean!
