Revived Christianity: Our Beliefs

The foundation of Revived Christianity is based purely on biblical principles, with the virtues of freedom and self-determination that offer us the freedom to live our lives without immorality or tyranny. Christ is the head of the Church.

We advocate for a biblical moral societal structure, with the blending of church and state, where society enforces biblical values to promote freedom – freedom for morality, but not for immorality.

We believe that autonomy and exclusivity is necessary to enable the God-given right to the pursuit of freedom, godliness, property ownership, and safety for our own people. All people have a right to their own exclusive group.

We are inherently against the evils of abortion, homosexuality, transgender, lgbt+, feminism, pride, tolerance, diversity, anti-racism, social justice, equality/equity, inclusivity, communism, usury (lending with interest), pharmaceutical drugs, recreational drugs, drunkenness, gluttony, laziness, sexual immorality, sensuality, sorcery and new-age, idolatry, property & income taxes, state-licensed marriage, religion-for-profit, and secular government.

Rationale for Revived Christianity

For those who are Bible-believing Christians, you must have noticed that Christianity is failing you, our people, and our countries. The United States, Canada, Australia, and countries in Western Europe, as well as other European territories, are now primarily secular countries, with ruling authorities who not only deny God and the Bible, but viciously attack it in the name of “tolerance”, “non-discrimination”, “diversity”, “multiculturalism”, and “anti-racism”.

We take an outright stance against false teachings and evil that is pervading our society. We will never attain a 501-3(c) tax-exemption status, because all the denominations that have it are not allowed to speak out against ungodly leaders or relevant moral topics, since they are threatened with losing their tax exempt status. As a result, Satan has used greed to silence Christian opposition and move his evil agendas forward.

Identical to the Communism of the former Soviet Union, agents of Satan infiltrated every level of government and also the ranks of the Christian Church, pushed “progressive” policies that have diminished and attacked Christianity, degraded the populace, and moved people away from religion, in order to undermine Western values of morality, honesty, charity, and freedom.

Although there are some Christian denominations that follow Christianity to a decent degree, the truth is that every denomination of Christianity has been infiltrated and corrupted by Satan’s agenda in one way or another. As a result, all denominations have become weak, pacified, and tolerant of evil, while promoting a wishy-washy superficial version of Christianity that no longer fully aligns with biblical teachings.

This has ultimately resulted in the destruction of Western Christian civilization. If any evidence is needed, the removal of God’s protection from our formerly Christian nations is made clear by the rapid advancement of Satan’s globalist agenda through a false pandemic and absolute global tyranny in all civilized nations across the entire Earth.

It is evident that God has removed His protection, and the reason for that is because Christianity has lost its luster and power, having sold out to the powers of the world, and controlled through either the 501(c)(3) tax-free status, the infiltrated protestant denominational leaders, or the corrupted Catholic establishments. If we do not turn back to God now, it will soon be too late.

Therefore, after prayer and contemplation, it is time to move forward with this restoration of Christianity. Revived Christianity is not a “new” religion at all, it is merely a re-establishing of core biblical values, sanity, and love for God and fellow humans, truth, and real justice, contrary to the lies and injustice that is called “social justice” today.

The current system which is heading toward a secular, one-world government has promoted insidious and despicable ideologies of sexual degeneracy, rebellion, and blind faith in the system, while degrading our health, reducing our ability to enjoy our God-given inalienable freedoms, and enslaving us to debt and dependence on the government for every aspect of our lives. It has removed and even criminalized the freedoms for Christians to follow our faith, raise our children in godliness, and pursue our future in peace as we see fit.

In short, due to the undermining of our Christian institutions, it is required to revive the biblical Christian ideology so that those of us who are left can join together under common beliefs, purpose, and identity, and so that we can forge a future for us and our families, current and future.

The foundation of Revived Christianity is traditional beliefs, once universally accepted by Christians; which are based purely on biblical principles, combined with the virtues of freedom and self-determination that offer us the freedom to live our lives without immorality, tyranny, and oppression.

This list of doctrinal beliefs is not intended to provide the full support and argument of each one, but rather to provide the beliefs themselves, and some basic foundation for that belief. Over time, I intend to write about each topic in greater detail to expound upon the biblical foundation for each view. I can then link to the specific articles which explain them in greater detail for further reading.

Jesus Christ & Salvation

Jesus Christ, or more accurately, Jesus the Christ, also known as Jesus of Nazareth, is the true and only begotten Son of God. God sent His only begotten Son so that whosoever should believe on Him shall be saved.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

Christ was born of the virgin Mary, lived a perfect life pleasing to His Father in heaven, taught and healed many and performed many supernatural miracles, and died to be the atonement and propitiation for our sins.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

On the third day, God rose Christ from the dead (Ephesians 1:20), completing His sacrifice and freeing us from slavery to sin if we accept Him (2 Corinthians 5:17), so that we can become “born again” (John 3:3).

Jesus Christ is the One and Only way to salvation. Jesus said clearly,

I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
(John 14:6)

Salvation is not by the legalistic keeping of laws, because only the blood of Christ is enough for the forgiveness of sins. Without Christ, none can be saved from hell. Praise be to God for giving us His Son, and praise to the Son of God, Jesus Christ, for willingly giving up His life in obedience to the Father, for us, even as we were still sinners.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
(Romans 5:8)

Yet, salvation is also not in the legalistic denial of all laws, as modern protestant Christians declare through the “grace alone” fallacy. Jesus made it clearly evident through both His words and His actions, that to refuse to obey God and His commandments is to reject Christ, because scripture makes clear,

For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins.
(Hebrews 10:26)

Therefore, “once saved, always saved” is a lie. One can lose their salvation.

21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you. 22 Note then the kindness and the severity of God: severity toward those who have fallen, but God’s kindness to you, provided you continue in his kindness. Otherwise you too will be cut off.
(Romans 11:21-22)

If we love God, it must be evident in our actions.

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
(1 John 5:3)

It is evident that good behavior on this Earth is required for salvation.

If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
(1 John 4:20)

If we do not forgive others, then we will not be forgiven. Can we receive salvation but yet be unforgiven? Surely not.

But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
(Matthew 6:15)

Therefore it is further evident that good works on Earth, including forgiveness, are required for salvation. It is not possible to have faith in God without good works.

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
(James 2:26)

Yet, without Christ, no one can be saved. No amount of good works alone can save you.

It is neither good works, nor total grace, which saves. The only conclusion that can be fairly drawn from the Bible is that first you must believe and accept Christ as our savior, and then you must also live a life holy and acceptable to God – that is, to do good on Earth as evidence that we truly do believe in God.

Otherwise, you will be rejected and cast out:

17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock.

(Matthew 7:17-24)

Those who live in sin will be cast into hell forever. Whoever not only hears but also does the will of God, will be saved, but only through the blood of Jesus shed on the cross.

Jesus Christ is the bridge between us and God. Christ’s death and resurrection provide the only path to eternal life with God.

If you reject Christ, or if you live a wicked life, then in either case you will not be given the blood of Christ for salvation, but will be cut off, and your name will be removed from the Book of Life, which documents all those who will enter into eternal life.

Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.
(Exodus 32:33)

And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
(Revelation 20:11)

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
(Revelation 20:15)

However, if we accept Christ, and live a holy life and are accepted, then through Christ we can be saved. Christ will then intermediate on our behalf before the Father:

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
(1 Timothy 2:5)

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
(Revelation 3:5)

Jesus is the only way to salvation, but God requires good works on Earth as evidence of your faith. If there is no evidence of your faith, then you have no faith, and those who have no faith will be rejected and cast into hell.

The Bible

The Bible, specifically the original manuscripts, are the sole foundation for morality; it is God’s written Word to humans. The scriptures, only contained within the text of the Bible, are God-breathed (2 Timothy 3:16), and therefore divinely inspired, though written by fallible men. Being divinely inspired, the scriptures as originally written are infallible.

Translations are not infallible, and therefore the original 1611 King James Version is the closest English version to the original texts, being based on the original manuscripts. It is permissible to use the New King James only on verses which solely change Old English words like “ye” to “you” for modern speech, but do not alter the original text. NKJV verses which alter the original KJV verses cannot be used as scripture.

Except for the Septuagint (LXX) and King James Version (KJV), all other translations are corrupt, they use false corrupted manuscripts. Many verses have been changed, and in many cases the meaning of the original verse has been completely changed. While newer versions are easier to read, they also change the meaning of scripture, which makes them too dangerous to use for doctrine and study.

It must be noted that even the King James Version has some mistakes, such as both sheol/hades and gehenna being translated as “hell“, causing confusion; and the existence of the Johannine Comma (explained below).

Only by study of the original manuscripts of the Bible can the full truth be told, because only the original writers were inspired. Therefore to find truth about any doctrine, one must study the original manuscripts, not just the English translations.

Johannine Comma

In 1 John 5:7-8, in red brackets is the part of the verse that should not be there, as it was written by a translator:

“For there are three that bear record [in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 8 And there are three that bear witness in earth], the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.”

The correct verse, therefore, should say this:

For there are three that bear record, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
(1 John 5:7-8)

The Johannine Comma is the only direct biblical evidence for the trinity doctrine, but it is a forgery, written into the Bible by a translator as a sidebar but wrongly included in the text, when it was not contained in the original manuscripts by the original inspired writer of 1 John.

Prayer

We can pray directly to God. We no longer have to pray through a priest.

Praying to or worshiping anyone other than God, such as Mary or the angels, is strictly forbidden. It is called idolatry.

8 “I, John … fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to me, 9 but he said to me, ‘You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.'” – Revelation 22:8-9

“Pray then like this: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.'” – Matthew 6:9

The Sabbath

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the Earth in 6 days. On the seventh day, God rested, and sanctified the day and made it holy. This was not some Jewish belief; the Sabbath was founded upon the creation of the Earth, at the beginning.

The Sabbath is one of the ten commandments. Just as all the other 9 commandments are still as valid as the day God wrote them with his own hands, likewise, the 4th commandment to honor the Sabbath and keep it holy is equally valid.

9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work,

10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
(Exodus 20:9-11)

We should work 6 days, not five, and on the seventh we should do no work at all. We are not to take the whole weekend off where we still do some work on the weekends; we work 6 days and get one day completely off. We work Sunday (the first day of the week) through Friday (the sixth day), and then rest on Saturday (the seventh day), as the Bible commands.

Moreover, Exodus 20:11 makes it clear that the reason that the Sabbath is holy is because is the “the sabbath of the LORD thy God”, not of the Hebrews. Any argument that the seventh day Sabbath is some Jewish holiday that is now passed away is a false argument, because the day is a Sabbath of God, not of the Hebrews. In fact, the first statement about the Sabbath was made long before the Hebrews, at the beginning when only Adam and Eve were on the planet:

3 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

4 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
(Genesis 2:3-4)

God sanctified the seventh day as the Sabbath on the seventh day of the Creation of the world. Adam and Eve were not yet one day old.

Since it is clearly evident that God created the Sabbath to be honored for all time, then we must read the rest of the Bible appropriately. Paul’s words do not supersede God’s words from his own mouth, and the writing from God’s own hands. Therefore, it must only be due to a false interpretation of scripture that anyone would claim that the Sabbath day is now abolished, because the Sabbath is as valid now as it was on the seventh day.

When Paul in the Bible said, “Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years” (Galatians 4:10), Paul could not have been talking about the seventh day of the week. He was talking about particular Hebrew holidays. The Hebrews had other days and feasts they called sabbaths, such as the Day of Atonement and other feast days and “sabbath” months and years. Paul was not saying that the seventh day of the week should not be followed anymore. He was only saying that the traditions of men, the special Jewish days, did not need to be followed, just as circumcision is no longer a physical requirement to be accepted as one of God’s children.

Honoring the Sabbath is not about following strict laws, like not carrying pebbles in your pocket on the Sabbath. Those were laws of men, created by the wicked Pharisees. However, what we are commanded to abstain from on the Sabbath include: not working, not getting anyone else to work (not even animals), and not buying or selling, which causes others to work, directly or indirectly. No work means no stressful activities.

We are also to keep the Sabbath holy. This means to take extra caution not to sin on the Sabbath. Sin of course should be abstained from on every day, but especially the Sabbath.

Since Creation, weeks have continued to pass, and the Sabbath day never changed, just as none of the other days of the week have changed. 7 days pass, and the seventh day is the day of the Sabbath. This day is not Sunday, it is Friday night at sunset to Saturday night at sunset. “And the evening and the morning was the next day.”

It was Constantine, a pagan emperor who converted to Christianity, who changed the Sabbath day by law in order to unite Christians and Pagans and stop the warring factions. He did the same with Christmas, moving the celebration of the birth of Christ to December 25, an evil Roman pagan holiday of wanton immorality, naked dancing, and group sex, known as Saturnalia.

Constantine may have legally changed the day of the Sabbath, but Constantine is no longer emperor of the civilized world, and there is no reason to have the Sabbath on a different day than the real one. Sunday is the first day of the week, not the Sabbath. Saturday is the Sabbath, the seventh day of the week.

Good Works

Titus 1:16 says, “They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.”

We are required by God as Christians to do good works on Earth. Good works are not salvation, and no amount of good works can save a person. However, a failure to live according to God’s laws is evidence that the person does not truly believe in Christ. John 14:15 says “If you love me, keep my commandments.”

If you do love God, you will keep His commandments. “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever” (John 14:16). Following God’s commandments are not in themselves sufficient to receive salvation, as salvation is through Christ alone. “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him” (John 3:36).

If you do not keep God’s laws by living a holy life, then it is evident you do not love God, but the world and yourself. “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him” (1 John 2:15).

The religious notion of “grace alone” is therefore false, and unscriptural. Salvation is though Christ alone, but nowhere does the Bible say that we have no obligations on this Earth whatsoever and that it is by grace only that we are saved. If we fail to follow the scriptures, it is evident that we are not truly believers in Christ. Good works are the evidence that we belong to God and Christ.

Christians are commanded to be “above reproach”. While “no one is righteous” (Romans 3:10), it is the duty of Christians to be a “light to the world” (Matthew 5:14), and to please God by obeying His commandments (John 14:15).

It is not acceptable to use the excuse, “everyone sins, I’m just a sinner”. This is nothing but a phrase to avoid taking responsibility, a passive excuse not to change one’s actions, rather than to become sanctified before God.

Zacchaeus, a tax collector seen as a traitor by extorting higher taxes than were owed, once he converted, did not go on robbing people. In fact, he made restitution, paying back all the people he robbed four times what he defrauded them (Luke 19:8). Likewise, when Jesus saved the adulterous woman caught committing adultery from being stoned to death as was the law, Jesus told the woman, “go, and sin no more” (John 8:1).

Forgiveness

Forgiveness must be a fundamental tenet of all Christians. Jesus said that if we are to receive forgiveness, then we must forgive. Jesus elaborated that if we forgive others then we will be forgiven by God; but if we do not forgive others, then also God will not forgive us (Matthew 6:14-15).

Because we live in such a fallen world, with so many sinful and broken people, it is vital that as Christians we spend time every single day forgiving people, and developing the habit of forgiveness instead of retaliation. Otherwise, the blood of Jesus will not be given as a sacrifice for our sins if we refuse to forgive others. These are the words of Jesus himself in Matthew 6:14-15.

Without the sacrifice of Jesus’ blood on the cross, even if we forgave others we would not be able to be forgiven. Thanks to Jesus’ tremendous sacrifice, we have the opportunity to be forgiven, if we forgive others.

We must forgive others if we want to be forgiven of our sins. Jesus described this in the parable of the unforgiving debtor. A man was forgiven all his debts, but then extorted his own servant who owed him much less than he had been forgiven by his master. When the master found out, he imprisoned the wicked man and made him pay back every penny (Matthew 18:21-35).

Treatment of the Body

Our bodies are a holy temple of God (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and if anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him (1 Corinthians 3:16-17). Because our bodies are the temple of God, it is therefore a fundamental tenet that a person is not permitted to deface, damage, or destroy their body.

This means that taking vaccines, gene therapy, or untested medical treatments is a violation of the temple of God, and will result in severe if not eternal consequences.

Genetic modification of the body, including gene therapy and other transhumanist practices, permanently alters the original design of the human, and therefore is a violation of scripture.

16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
(1 Corinthians 3:16-17)

19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
(1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

Tattoos are the defacing of the temple of God, and therefore are a violation of the Bible. The Bible also strictly prohibits the cutting of the body, either by tattoos, self-harm, or other means:

Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord.
(Leviticus 19:28)

Use of Blood

Blood transfusions are against the Bible. There is now another major reason why not to accept any blood transfusions. The mRNA “vaccine”. This gene therapy permanently alters and taints the blood of the individuals that have it. It will be impossible to know whether blood has or has not been tainted by the gene modification.

Even before the mRNA gene therapy was distributed to millions of people globally, there was the risk of HIV and other diseases being transmitted, as well as the danger of pharmaceuticals. It is therefore dangerous to accept any blood, and should be forbidden on health reasons alone, because our bodies are the temple of God (1 Corinthians 3:16-17); and much more by biblical precedent.

The Bible talks about not “eating” the blood; but actually injecting the blood into the body was far beyond the technology of the time to do, so it was not directly addressed. Instead, the description of the Bible, to “pour out the blood” of any blood removed from any living being and “cover it with dust”, sets the clear biblical precedent that putting the blood of any living being or other human into the body of any other human is forbidden.

Moreover, anyone who willingly does so “shall be cut off”.

Because any blood removed must be buried and not used, it would also be a violation of scripture to donate blood.

There is also scientific evidence that supports that the Biblical statement that the “life of all flesh is the blood”. Although this fact has been buried repeatedly by the fraudulent and corrupt “medical” establishment, all blood transfusions, heart transplants, and other manner of transplant of blood from one person to another, come with personality changes. The reason, I believe, is because as the Bible says that the “life of the body is the blood”, then it also means that the personality and possibly even spirit of the person is also contained to some degree within the blood.

Countless reports of blood transfusion and heart transplant victims have been reported as personality changes to where the person becomes “a different person” and has memories of the person who anonymously donated their heart to them. Upon discovering these personality changes and new memories, heart transplant victims have sought out and discovered the identity of who the heart originally belonged to, to be told by the donor’s relatives that the memories and personality matched the donor of the heart.

The Bible never says we are meant to be immortal. If science was even able to transfer our brains and consciousness into an artificial body, this new cyborg-human would be an abomination, although the person may go on living. Organ transplants and blood transfusions are not part of God’s natural design.

10 And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.

11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

12 Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood.

13 And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.

14 For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.
(Leviticus 17:11-14)

Health & Fitness

The Bible calls gluttony (overeating or overdrinking) “idolatry”. It is therefore sinful to overeat. A person who is obese is suffering the consequences of idolatry, and they often die an early death. The Bible warned that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). Instead, we must eat in moderation. I believe that God gave us all good things on Earth to enjoy. To overindulge is not merely to enjoy the gifts of God, but to idolize them.

“Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.”
(1 Corinthians 10:7)

Second, overindulgence is greed. To eat large quantities of food is to steal from the poor and needy. That money should have been used to give to the hungry, not to fill the belly of the greedy.

“But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.”
(1 Timothy 5:8)

“But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?”
(1 John 3:17)

“He who has a generous eye will be blessed, For he gives of his bread to the poor.”
(Proverbs 22:9)

Third, failure to exercise is to fail to take care of the body, which is the temple of God.

19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
(1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

Fourth, failure to exercise is laziness.

19 For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
(2 Thessalonians 3:10)

33 Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: 34 So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man.
(Proverbs 24:33-34)

13 The lazy man says, “There is a lion in the road!
A fierce lion is in the streets!”

14 As a door turns on its hinges,
So does the lazy man on his bed.

15 The lazy man buries his hand in the bowl;
It wearies him to bring it back to his mouth.

16 The lazy man is wiser in his own eyes
Than seven men who can answer sensibly.
(Proverbs 26:13-16)

Abortion

Murder – the malicious killing of another human – is condemned by scripture (Exodus 20:13). A fetus is a living, created being as of the moment of conception (Psalm 139:13). Therefore, abortion at any stage is murder. Abstinence is the only acceptable solution to unwanted pregnancy.

For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.
(Psalm 139:13)

What about when the life of the mother is at stake? The Bible seems to support that the mother’s life takes precedence over the baby, so if one must choose between the life of the mother and the baby, one has the freedom to choose.

In Exodus 21:22-25, the punishment for striking a pregnant woman causing her to miscarry will be punished however the husband sees fit (although death is not excluded); but if further mischief were to be done then what is done shall be done to the man, up until death.

If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman’s husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine.

And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.
(Exodus 21:22-25)

It does seem to say that if the man kill the woman, then he shall be put to death, but that if he causes a woman to only miscarry, then death is optional at the discretion of the husband. Therefore it appears evident that one may choose either the life of the mother or baby.

Equality

All humans are created with equal value in the eyes of God. However, the communist ideology of “equality” as promoted in modern social justice causes is not scriptural. There is no precedent that life is equally fair for every individual. Physically, economically, intellectually, and by every earthly comparison, humans are unequal. Exodus 4:11 states that God created people unequal by design.

And the Lord said unto him, Who hath made man’s mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the Lord?
(Exodus 4:11)

Feminism

While reckless oppression is unbiblical (Jeremiah 7:6), male-dominance is God’s design, as is God’s dominance over man (1 Corinthians 11:3). The Bible says that God created a hierarchy of man over woman. It is clear that the principle of forced “equality of outcome” is an attack on the Bible, a rebellion against God.

Modern feminism places woman at the head, and oppresses men. No human has a right to be oppressed, but adhering to the natural hierarchy is God’s original design. The hierarchy is as follows: God, man, woman, children, animals and plants.

If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt: Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever. (Jeremiah 7:6)

But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. (1 Corinthians 11:3)

We wholeheartly adhere to the Affirmations found in The Danvers Statement on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood.

Freedom

God created humans with the freedom of self-determination. We not not robots forcefully controlled by God against our will, and likewise we are not victims of the mere interaction of atoms in the universe, destined to do what we will do.

On the contrary, we are given the free will to think, act, and live according to our free will. This may be for good, or for evil, but this is the foundation for freedom. The limitation is that if our liberty causes harm to others, then society must legislate morality. For example, a person may not murder another because they have the freedom to do so.

The freedom to think and act, morally, or immorally, does not come without consequences. Moral thoughts lead to moral actions, and moral actions lead to blessings and prosperity, either in this life or the life to come. Immoral thoughts lead to immoral actions, and immoral actions lead to negative consequences, both in this life, and the life to come.

If a person commits an immoral act and is sentenced to death, or hell, or both, it was within their freedom to choose the action, but not within their freedom to choose the consequence. God is the sole determinate of the consequences of the actions of a person. A person cannot change morality or the consequences of morality; this is the purview of God alone.

For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
(Galatians 5:13)

As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
(1 Peter 2:16)

Identity

Jew or Gentile, neither matters for salvation (Galatians 3:28). The old order of animal sacrifice was done away with when Christ died on the cross and the veil to the temple was torn (Mark 15:37-38). Therefore, every human has the opportunity to attain salvation.

However, the idea that there are no biological differences between male or female, or between races, is a blind denial of not only one’s own eyes and experience, but also a denial of thousands of years of scientific evidence proving the contrary. The distinction between male and female is obvious, and to deny it is to deny one’s own eyes and objective reality.

The distinction between races is likewise obvious, and to assert that all are simply part of the “human race” and that there are no races, is patently and obviously false.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
(Genesis 1:27)

They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort.
(Genesis 7:14)

Gender

There are only two genders: male and female. Besides some rare biological mutations which are a corruption of the natural order, any other “genders” are pure fiction and a perversion of the natural order created by God. Anyone who claims to be another gender is either perverted, mentally manipulated, or both.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. (Genesis 1:27)

Moreover, the only natural and acceptable sexual identity is “straight”. Any sexual relations that deviate from a man married to a woman is a perversion and an abomination. All of homosexuality, LGBT+, gender-neutral, gender-nonconforming, crossdressing, and every other perversion is an abomination before God, and all who do so will be judged.

22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

23 Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.

24 Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you.

25 And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.

26 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you.
(Leviticus 18:22-24)

Race

The denial of race and gender is a communist concept designed to brainwash the general public into denying reality itself. In doing so, communist (presently called “liberal” or “progressive”) advocates force “diversity” and “multiculturalism”, both scientifically and historically proven to be failed concepts. The special attack on Europeans in the West, denying European people a homeland and heritage, while allowing every other race to have a homeland and their own homogeneous country, is an organized attack on the West in order to degrade western Christianity and institute an atheistic, communist, global government.

Further, “Critical Race Theory” is a purely communist and racist (anti-European) concept designed to create divisions among people and demonize Europeans. It is a dangerous, hateful, and malicious religious doctrine which is not supported by the Bible.

Supremacy of any race is in opposition to the natural order created by God. All people of all races have a right to self-determination given by God, and forced integration is harmful to all parties. All people have a right to the freedom of association and the preservation of their own people. Any attempt to undermine a people racially or ethnically is, by definition, genocide.

The Bible supports each kind according to their own kind. It does not support the unwarranted oppression of one kind by another kind, but it does support the exclusion of one kind from another kind.

And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
(Genesis 1:25)

Exclusivity

All races have an equal right to have their own countries and cultures which are exclusive and independent of other people, and this applies also to Europeans. Exclusivity is not oppression, and is supported by the Bible. For example, the priests of Israel, who were the Levites, were an exclusive group for which no one except for those of Levite ethnicity was allowed to be a part of. God divided the Levites from the other Israelites based on their ethnicity alone. This sets a Biblical precedent for ethnic exclusivity.

No person has a right to infringe on the rights of others who want to be free and independent among their own chosen group of people. Moreover, no government has a right to force unwanted people groups into neighborhoods unnaturally. Exclusivity is not racism, it is the love for one’s own brethren and people. No race or ethnic group should be forced to care for another ethnic group before their own people.

While hatred, forced slavery, human trafficking, and murder are abominations; peaceful exclusivity is an inalienable right given by God. No person or persons should be allowed to impose themselves on some other person who does not willingly agree to be imposed upon. Since it is unnatural to desire to be oppressed, it is therefore a God-given right to have the freedom to resist oppression.

It is not “hateful” to suggest that one people group lives apart from another people group and does not allow the other people group in. It would only be “oppressive”, if one people denied another people group their right to live exclusively among their own people to preserve their genetics as God designed. No person would have a right to go to Nigeria and say, “there are too many Nigerians here”. No person would have a right to go to China and say, “there are too many Chinamen here”. That would be racist.

Likewise, it is not right for any person to go to France, and say, “there are too many white Frenchmen here”, or Germany and say “there are too many white Germans here”, or England and say “there are too many white Englishmen here”, or the United States and say “there are too many white people in this town”. That would be racist on all accounts.

Those calling people “racist” for loving their own people, are the racists themselves. They insert a “strawman”, which is an intentional logical fallacy, that “to love one’s own people is to hate another”, which is false. Loving one’s own people is not a hatred of another’s people. God made each people beautiful and wonderful. To destroy what God created by committing genocide by pushing forced integration, diversity, and multiculturalism, denies the host nation and people the God-given right to peacefully live among their own people.

Usury

Usury is the lending of money for profit. Usury is forbidden by the Bible. Therefore, no interest should be taken on any moneylending. Money lending should never be done for profit. Moneylending for profit is stealing from the poor.

If thou lend money to any of my people that is poor by thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him usury.
(Exodus 22:25)

11 And that doeth not any of those duties, but … 13 Hath given forth upon usury, and hath taken increase: shall he then live? He shall not live: he hath done all these abominations; he shall surely die; his blood shall be upon him.
(Ezekiel 18:11,13)

The Bible says that people who profit from usury, which is moneylending for profit, have committed an abomination and should receive the death sentence as shown above in Ezekiel 18:13.

19 Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury:

20 Unto a stranger thou mayest lend upon usury; but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon usury: that the Lord thy God may bless thee in all that thou settest thine hand to in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
(Deuteronomy 23:19-20)

It is apparently biblical to exact interest on strangers; but not the poor, and not to one’s own people. Jesus said that one’s brother is “anyone that does the will of God”. Therefore, you should not lend at interest to any Christian.

For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
(Matthew 12:50)

The danger is that those who need money to borrow it are usually poor, and therefore, those who lend money at interest usually exploit the poor. Therefore, it should be considered an abomination to lend at interest.

The Bible says that the borrower is the slave to the lender, and that we should not become a slave to anyone but Christ. Therefore, we should not borrow money either, even if poor, and especially not from a moneylender at interest while we are poor.

The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.
(Proverbs 22:7)

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
(2 Corinthians 6:14)

Therefore, we are neither to lend with interest (usury), especially not to the poor or other Christians which is an abomination, nor to borrow from the wicked.

Tithing

Tithing is not biblical. In fact, the practice of giving 10% of your income (and gross, not net income, at that), was not even invented until about 100 years ago. A struggling church lost its major donors, and needed to come up with a way to keep the doors open. So, they invented the idea of “biblical” tithing, based on the ancient Hebrews giving 10% of their proceeds to the priests.

In the Bible, tithing to the priests was not even money, it was animals, grain, etc.

3 And this shall be the priest’s due from the people, from them that offer a sacrifice, whether it be ox or sheep; and they shall give unto the priest the shoulder, and the two cheeks, and the maw.

4 The firstfruit also of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the first of the fleece of thy sheep, shalt thou give him.
(Dueteronomy 18:3-4)

When Jesus died on the cross, Jesus eliminated the need for priests, the sacrificial system was eliminated, and the need for a priesthood was eliminated. Jesus became our High Priest, the one mediator between us and God. Without a priestly system and sacrificial system, there is no more tithing system which supported the priestly sacrificial system. Instead, God now lives in our hearts.

26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.
(Hebrews 7:26-27)

Moreover, the idea of taking away food from your table and your children and your home, by giving 10% of your total income, not your profits, but the income you need to live on, to a religious establishment, has no basis in the Bible. Proverbs talks about the Hebrews giving of their “increase”, which seems to imply something similar to profits.

9 Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: 10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
(Proverbs 3:9-10)

Of course, for people who are prosperous, the issue of giving from gross income taking away from essential needs is irrelevant; but it is especially important to consider for the poor who live paycheck to paycheck.

The giving of firstfruits seems to have been a command to the Hebrews in the Old Testament only, while there was still an earthly priesthood and sacrificial system. Tithing and giving of firstfruits is never mentioned in the New Testament.

While in Acts 4:34-37, the early church did collect money, the money was used to make sure that no members lacked anything, not to build big church buildings or pay the apostles’ “salaries”, which didn’t exist.

34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,

35 And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.
(Acts 4:34-35)

As can be researched in secular texts, in pagan evil religions, firstfruits, similar to tithes, were a major source of revenue to build temples for the pagan false gods, and were also used to fund upkeep of the temples. This helped pagan societies build their influence and power. This sounds a whole lot like the modern Christian church, which uses tithes as a condition of membership to build large temples, support the temples, and support the religious leaders.

I do not believe the tithing is supported by the Bible. As a result, this ministry will not collect tithes.

Charity

This is not to say we should never give any money to God or others, because we can give money to God through giving to the poor. But, God says that when we give to the poor in secret, then it is considered “lending to the Lord”, and he will repay you.

He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.
(Proverbs 19:17)

Jesus also said to give in secret, and not to let your left hand know what your right hand is doing.

1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:

4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
(Matthew 6:1-4)

Sexual Immorality

Sexual immorality is against God’s natural order.

“For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God” (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5).

The types of sexual immorality condemned by the Bible are as follows: homosexuality (Leviticus 18:22), sodomy between any individuals (Jude 1:7), pedophilia (sex with a prepubescent child), bestiality (Leviticus 18:23), rape (Genesis 34), incest (Leviticus 18:6), extramarital sex (Hebrews 13:4), adultery (Exodus 20:14), prostitution and performing pornography (Deuteronomy 23:17), sleeping with a prostitute (1 Corinthians 6:16), watching pornography (Matthew 5:28), serving pornography (Matthew 18:6), miscegenation (Exodus 34:12), marriage between Christians and non-Christians (2 Corinthians 6:14), and any other unnatural desire (Jude 1:7). The only natural desire is that between a man and a woman, inside of marriage, behind closed doors.

Sorcery

Sorcery has crept into the West and become integrated with western society so much so that many if not most Christians participate in it without being aware of its origins. Sorcery, also known as “magick”, is a Satanist ideology defined as the “imposing one’s will upon reality in order to create change”.

Any act of will or thought that attempts to impose human will on the world to create change is abhorrent to God. This includes:

The “Law of Attraction”, the “power of positive thinking” (which goes behind thinking positively, which is in itself good, and moves stealthily into sorcery), visualization (with attempt to create physical change);

Astrology and horoscopes, tarot cards, fortune telling, divination (attempting to gain answers using the guidance of evil spirits; divining; tea leaves, etc), numerology (using numbers to interpret a person’s character or to “divine” their future);

Astral projection (the practice of the spirit leaving the body to enter the astral plane), spirit walking (communicating with spirits in a dream, such as in Native American spirituality), dreamwalking (entering another person’s dream), lucid dreaming, hypnotism;

Transcendental meditation, yoga and other eastern spiritual disciplines cleverly disguised as “exercise” (pilates is a neutral alternative); recreational drug use especially when combined with other forms of sorcery, such as musical or creative “inspiration”;

Superstitions, curses and spells, good luck charms and other objects meant to bring luck or harm (such as dream catchers), potions (for either good or harm, such as love potions or bad luck potions), idols such as the Buddah;

Mediums or other communication with the dead, or attempts to summon, raise, or communicate with the dead, including close family members, ghosts, etc (necromancy, for which not the dead but only demons will respond and masquerade as the image, voice, or personality of the dead);

Some board games such as the Ouija board, which is communication with evil spirits; freewriting (writing without thinking to let some supernatural forces guide what is written, similar to the Ouija board); some video games such as Dungeons and Dragons (for which the developers heavily consulted real Satanists to replicate sorcery in the video game as accurately as possible);

White magick (sorcery used for “good”); black magick (sorcery used for “bad”); and even to a degree some gambling, as the temptation to perform sorcery by imposing one’s thoughts on others or the game is very high when the stakes are high.

All forms of sorcery are, intentionally or accidentally, a form of communication with evil spirits which are the true force of the “change” that may occur due to any form of sorcery. God forbids humans to create any opportunities for demons to influence human affairs.

Whenever someone attempts any form of sorcery, the negative consequences in the long run will outweigh any temporary gain. The Bible’s position on sorcery is clear: it is an abomination to God, and forbidden for any Christian to practice (Deuteronomy 18:10-12).

10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch.

11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.

12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

Satan

The ultimate enemy of all Christians is a real being known in the Bible as Satan. Satan deceived some of the angels in heaven to rebel with him against God, and as a result he and the angels were cast out of heaven (Revelation 12:7-9). Today, the Bible describes Satan “as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8), and “going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it” (Job 2:2).

Demons

Demons are most likely the disembodied spirits of the Nephilim, hybrid human/fallen-angel beings created before the Great Flood in Genesis (Genesis 6:1-6). Although the origins of demons is unclear, we do know that demons are agents of Satan, part of the dark forces that corrupt the Earth (Ephesians 6:12).

Many (but not all) “mental illnesses” including severe depression and schizophrenia have no medical basis, therefore making it evident that many are afflicted by demonic possession, as evident from biblical accounts of demonic possession (Mark 5:1–20). Demons likely enter into people through either sinful behavior (Luke 22:3), sickness, or the occult.

Christians cannot be possessed by demons (Romans 8:9), but if they do not put on the “full armor of God” (Ephesians 6:11), then they are susceptible to demonic influence. No person willingly chooses to consider suicide; the evil thoughts are always a lie of demons. Severe depression and other problems, when there is no medical basis or reason (such as strong sadness for a valid reason), are caused by demonic manipulation (1 Timothy 4:1).

When a person realizes that such evil thoughts are not their own, they can be freed from self-hatred and anguish at evil thoughts, and reject them. A suicidal person or any other person with unusual evil thoughts can be liberated from these thoughts by being aware that these thoughts are coming from demons, and by rebuking the demons by the power of Jesus Christ (Mark 16:17).

The Second Coming

One day at a day and time that no one knows, which means that no predictions can be accurate, Jesus will come back.

29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” – Matthew 24:29-31

The Resurrection

According to the Bible, on the last day God will raise us again in bodily form, we will not just be spirits. However, our bodies will be in glorified form, as in without sickness or pain, our bodies will be much greater; but we will only get our glorified bodies if we have attained eternal salvation. Those who do not, will be cast into hell.

28 “Do not marvel at this, for an hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment.” – John 5:28-29

20 “For our conversation is in heaven; from where also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ: 21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like to his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things to himself.” – Philippians 3:20-21

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” – Revelation 21:4

Judgment Day

On the last day all will be awoken and will be judged by God according to their works.

12 “And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done.

13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done.” – Revelation 20:12-13

End of the world

God will destroy this world by fire in the end times. Then God will remake the world anew.

“The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.” – 2 Peter 3:10

New Heaven & Earth

Whether heaven is where we will eventually spend eternity is unclear. Instead, the Bible talks about a “new heaven and a new earth”. God will destroy this world and make a new, perfect one.

1 “Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.

2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, ‘Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.

4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away. 5 And he who was seated on the throne said, ‘Behold, I am making all things new.'” – Revelation 21:1-5

Heaven

There is a real place called heaven. This is the place where God resides. Heaven is not in the plane of our existence.

“The LORD has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all” – Psalm 103:19

Heaven is also described as a place of perfection where there is no pain or suffering.

“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” – Revelation 21:4

Not everyone will go to heaven, not even everyone who calls themselves a Christian.

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.” – Matthew 7:21

Not many people will get to heaven.

13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Matthew 7:13-14

Purgatory

The Bible does not support the existence of purgatory. According to the Bible, after you die, you don’t get another chance. Contrary to what many Catholics believe, your loved ones can’t pray for you after you die. After you die, your time is up. There is no in between or purgatory. There is either eternal life or the lake of fire.

Purgatory is defined as the state, place, or condition whereby the souls of the unsaved have a second chance to attain salvation. Yet, purgatory and teachings about purgatory are found nowhere in the Bible.. The Bible gives two paths: salvation, or damnation.

13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Matthew 7:13-14

Pope Gregory the Great (590 – 640 AD) was the one who promoted purgatory and made it unquestionable Catholic doctrine. He is credited with being “the inventor of purgatory.” In the councils of Lyons in 1274, and in Florence in 1439, the Catholic church officially took the position that purgatory was to become Catholic doctrine. Then in 1547, the Council of Trent affirmed this Catholic belief which is not supported by scripture except by extreme stretching and misinterpretation.

Hell

Scripture describes two places, often mistaken for the same place: Hell (“Sheol” in Hebrew, and “Hades”, which is ᾅδης in Greek, both often translated as “hell”); and the Lake of Fire, which is a different place than Sheol/Hades/Hell.

Sheol/Hades

Sheol or Hades, which are translated as “Hell”, is literally translated as “the place of the dead” or “the place of departed souls/spirits.” The King James version translates “Sheol” as “the grave” in 1 Kings 2:9 and Job 17:13, among many other verses.

Hades is translated as “hell” by the King James version, and seems to be the Greek word equivalent for Sheol. (References to Hades.) This is further evident from the Septuagint (LXX), which is the Greek version of the Old Testament, which uses the word “Hades” in 1 Kings 2:9, whereas the Hebrew uses “Sheol” in the same verse.

Gehenna

But there is a third word, but likely not a third place. Gehenna is also translated as “hell”, but it is a reference to the Valley of Hinnom, which is a place where Molech and Baal were worshipped south of Jerusalem. Moloch is the false god to which child sacrifice is done, often by casting the child into the fire. Therefore there is a symbolic meaning.

Gehenna is used several times in the New Testament, and seems to be a metaphor for the Lake of Fire, not hell (Sheol/Hades). Sheol and Hades are not referred to as a place of fire, but as a place of the dead. Meanwhile, Gehenna is often used along with “fire”, as in “Gehenna fire”, translated as “hell fire” (Matthew 5:22, Matthew 18:9, and a number of other verses).

So, it seems to be that Gehenna is a metaphor for the Lake of Fire. Meanwhile, Sheol and Hades are words meaning the place of the dead, which might be the grave, or might be a place in between the grave and the final judgment.

Lake of Fire

The Lake of Fire is the place which God created for the devil and his angels. It is described as a place of “burning sulfur” or “brimstone” (Revelation 20:10), “where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched” (Mark 9:48).

The words “worm dieth not” is a reference to Isaiah 66:24, “And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.”

Unfortunately, those who reject God will also go to this place of “everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal” (Matthew 25:46). Along with the devil, the beast, and the false prophet, they “shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever” (Revelation 20:10).

The exact words “eternal suffering” are not found in the Bible, but these words are: “everlasting punishment” (Matthew 25:46) and “tormented day and night for ever and ever” (Revelation 20:10). It’s hard to justify that the words “for ever and ever” is not describing eternal torment. Therefore, we believe that suffering in the Lake of Fire is forever.

The Lake of Fire is also described as the “second death”. Whoever does not have their name written in the Book of Life will be cast into the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:14).

“Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15 And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.” – Revelation 20:14
