Psalms 70

To the director; to David; for remembrance in my being delivered by the lord.

70:1O God, for my help heed me! O lord, hasten to help me!

70:2Let the ones seeking my life be ashamed and feel remorse! Let the ones wanting bad things for me be turned to the rear and be disgraced!

70:3Let them be turned immediately, being shamed! the ones saying to me, Well done, well done!

70:4Let them exult and be glad over you! even all the ones seeking you, O God. And let them say always, Let the lord be magnified! even the ones loving your deliverance.

70:5But I am poor and needy, O God, help me! You are my helper and my rescuer, O lord, you should not delay.
