Psalms 130

An ode of the steps.

130:1From out of the depths I cried out to you, O lord.

130:2O lord, listen to my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplication!

130:3If you should closely watch lawless deeds, O Lord, O lord, who shall stand?

130:4For atonement is by you. Because of your name I waited for you, O lord.

130:5My soul waited for your word.

130:6My soul hoped upon the lord from the morning watch till night.

130:7Let Israel hope upon the lord! for with the lord is mercy, and an abundant ransoming by him.

130:8And he shall ransom Israel from all his lawlessnesses.
