Psalms 119

Alleluiah.

119:1Blessed are the unblemished in the way; the ones going by the law of the lord.

119:2Blessed are the ones searching out his testimonies; with the entire heart they shall seek after him.

119:3For the ones practicing lawlessness were not gone in his ways.

119:4You gave charge to keep your commandments exceedingly.

119:5Ought that my ways be straightened out to keep your ordinances;

119:6then in no way should I be ashamed in my paying attention concerning all of your commandments.

119:7I shall confess to you in uprightness of heart in my learning the judgments of your righteousness.

119:8Your ordinances I will keep. You should not abandon me unto an exceeding amount.

119:9How shall a younger man keep straight his way? by the keeping of your words.

119:10With my whole heart I inquired of you; you should not thrust me from your commandments.

119:11In my heart I hid your oracles, so that I should not sin against you.

119:12Blessed are you, O lord. Teach me your ordinances!

119:13With my lips I will declare all the judgments of your mouth.

119:14I delighted in the way of your testimonies as above all riches.

119:15In your commandments I shall meditate; and I shall contemplate your ways.

119:16I shall meditate in your ordinances; I shall not forget your words.

119:17Recompense to your servant! Enliven me! and I will keep your words

119:18Uncover my eyes! and I shall contemplate the wonders of your law.

119:19I am a sojourner in the earth; you should not conceal from me your commandments.

119:20My soul longed to desire your judgments at every occasion.

119:21You reproached the proud; accursed are the ones turning aside from your commandments.

119:22Remove from me scorn and contempt! for I inquired of your testimonies.

119:23For even rulers sat and spoke ill against me; but your servant meditated in your ordinances.

119:24For even your testimonies are my meditation; and your ordinances are my advice.

119:25My soul cleaved to the floor; let me live according to your word!

119:26My ways I declared, and you heeded me. Teach me your ordinances!

119:27Bring understanding to me in the way of your ordinances! and I will meditate in your wonders.

119:28My soul slumbered from indifference. Firm me in your words!

119:29Remove the way of injustice from me, and show mercy to me by your law!

119:30The way of truth I took up, and your judgments I did not forget.

119:31I cleaved to your testimonies, O lord; you should not put me to shame.

119:32I ran the way of your commandments, whenever you widened my heart.

119:33Establish for me, O lord, the way of your ordinances! and I will seek after them always.

119:34Bring understanding to me! and I will search out your law, and I will guard it with my whole heart.

119:35Guide me in the road of your commandments! for I wanted it.

119:36Lean my heart unto your testimonies, and not unto the desire for wealth!

119:37Turn my eyes to not behold folly! Enliven me in your way!

119:38Establish to your servant your oracle, so as to fear you!

119:39Remove my scorn! which I dreaded, for your judgments are gracious.

119:40Behold, I desired your commandments; enliven me in your righteousness!

119:41And may your mercy come upon me, O lord; even your deliverance according to your word.

119:42Then I shall answer to the ones berating against me in a matter, for I hoped upon your words.

119:43For you should not remove from out of my mouth the word of truth unto an exceeding amount; for upon your judgments I raised hope.

119:44And I shall guard your law always, into the eon, and into the eon of the eon.

119:45For I went into an enlargement; for I sought after your commandments.

119:46And I spoke by your testimonies before kings, and I was not ashamed.

119:47And I meditated in your commandments which I loved very much.

119:48And I lifted my hands to your commandments which I loved; and I meditated in your ordinances.

119:49Remember your words to your servant! which you raised my hope.

119:50This comforted me in my humiliation; for your oracle enlivened me.

119:51The proud acted unlawfully unto exceedingly; but from your law I did not turn aside.

119:52I remembered your judgments of the eon, O lord, and I was comforted.

119:53Depression held me down because of the sinners -- the ones abandoning your law.

119:54Your ordinances were as strummed chords of music to me in the place of my sojourn.

119:55I remembered your name in the night, O lord, and I kept your law.

119:56This happened to me, for I sought after your ordinances.

119:57You are my portion, O lord. I spoke concerning guarding your law.

119:58I beseeched your face with my entire heart. Show mercy on me according to your oracle!

119:59I argued your ways, and I turned my feet to your testimonies.

119:60I prepared myself, and was not disturbed to keep your commandments.

119:61The rough cords of sinners twist me, but your law I did not forget.

119:62At midnight I awoke to confess to you over the judgments of your righteousness.

119:63I am a partner of all of the ones fearing you, and of the ones keeping your commandments.

119:64Of your mercy, O lord, the earth is full; teach me your ordinances!

119:65That which is good you did with your servant, O lord, according to your word.

119:66That which is good, and instruction, and knowledge, teach me! for I trusted your commandments!

119:67Before my being humbled, I committed trespasses; on account of this I guarded your oracle.

119:68You are gracious, O lord; and in your graciousness teach me your ordinances!

119:69The injustice of the proud was multiplied against me; but I shall search out your commandments with my whole heart.

119:70Their heart was curdled as milk; but I meditated upon your law.

119:71It is good for me that you humbled me, so that I should learn your ordinances.

119:72The law of your mouth is good to me, above a thousand pieces of gold and silver.

119:73Your hands made me, and shaped me. Bring understanding to me! and I shall learn your commandments.

119:74The ones fearing you shall see me and shall be glad; for in your words I raised hope.

119:75I knew, O lord, that your judgments are righteousness, and in truth you humbled me.

119:76Let your mercy indeed be to comfort me according to your oracle to your servant!

119:77Let your compassions come to me! and I shall live; for your law is my meditation.

119:78Let the proud be shamed! for unjustly they acted lawlessly against me. But I shall meditate in your commandments.

119:79Turn towards me the ones fearing you, and the ones knowing your testimonies!

119:80Let my heart become unblemished in your ordinances! so that I should not be shamed.

119:81My soul is wanting for your deliverance. In your words I raised hope.

119:82My eyes failed for your oracle, saying, When will you comfort me?

119:83For I became as a leather bag in frost; your ordinances I forgot not.

119:84How many are the days of your servant? When will you execute for me a judgment against the ones pursuing me?

119:85Lawbreakers described a meditation against me, but not according to your law, O lord.

119:86All your commandments are truth. They pursued me unjustly; help me!

119:87In a short time they would have finished me off entirely in the earth, but I did not abandon your commandments.

119:88According to your mercy enliven me! and I shall guard the testimonies of your mouth.

119:89Into the eon, O lord, your word abides in the heaven.

119:90Unto generation and generation is your truth. You laid the earth's foundation, and it abides.

119:91The day abides by your disposition; for all things are your subservient.

119:92Were it not that your law is my meditation, then would I have been destroyed in my humiliation.

119:93In no way should I forget your ordinances into the eon; for by them you enlivened me.

119:94I am yours, deliver me! for I sought after your ordinances.

119:95Sinners remained behind for me, to destroy me; I perceived your testimonies.

119:96I beheld the end of every completion; your commandment is exceedingly spacious.

119:97How I loved your law, O lord; the entire day it is my meditation.

119:98Above my enemies you made me wiser by your commandment; for into the eon it is to me.

119:99Above all the ones teaching me I perceived; for your testimonies are my meditation.

119:100Above the elders I perceived; for I sought after your commandments.

119:101From out of every evil way I restrained my feet, so that I shall guard your words.

119:102From your judgments I did not turn aside; for you established law for me.

119:103How sweet to my throat are your oracles; more than honey in my mouth.

119:104By your commandments I perceived; on account of this I detested every way of injustice.

119:105Your law is a lamp unto my feet and a light to my paths.

119:106I swore by an oath, and stood to guard the judgments of your righteousness.

119:107I was humbled unto exceedingly, O lord; enliven me according to your word!

119:108Take pleasure indeed in the voluntary offerings of my mouth, O lord, and teach me your judgments!

119:109My soul is in your hands always; and your law I forgot not.

119:110Sinners put a snare for me; but from your commandments I wandered not.

119:111I inherited your testimonies into the eon; for they are a leap for joy to my heart.

119:112I leaned my heart to observe your ordinances into the eon in remuneration.

119:113Lawbreakers I detested, but your law I loved.

119:114You are my helper and my shielder; by your words I raised hope.

119:115Turn aside from me O ones acting wicked! for I shall search out the commandments of my God.

119:116Take hold of me according to your oracle; and enliven me! for you should not put me to shame of my expectation.

119:117Help me, and I shall be delivered! and I will meditate in your ordinances always.

119:118All the ones defecting from your ordinances treated me with contempt; for their thought is unjust.

119:119All the sinners of the earth I considered as ones violating the law; on account of this I loved your testimonies.

119:120Nail up my flesh because of the fear of you! for because of your judgments I feared.

119:121I executed judgment and righteousness; you should not deliver me to the ones wronging me.

119:122Look out for your servant for good; let not the proud extort me!

119:123My eyes are wanting for your deliverance, and for the oracle of your righteousness.

119:124Do with your servant according to your mercy, and teach me your ordinances!

119:125I am your servant; bring understanding to me! and I will make known your testimonies.

119:126It is time for the lord to act; they effaced your law.

119:127On account of this I loved your commandments above gold and topaz.

119:128On account of this I kept straight to all of your commandments; every way of the unjust I detested.

119:129Your testimonies are wonderful; on account of this my soul searches them out.

119:130The manifestation of your words shall give light, and bring understanding to simple ones.

119:131I opened my mouth and drew breath; for your commandments I longed after.

119:132Look upon me, and show mercy on me! according to the practice of the ones loving your name.

119:133Straighten out my footsteps according to your oracle! and let there not dominate me any lawlessness!

119:134Ransom me from the extortion of men! and I will keep your commandments.

119:135Let your face appear unto your servant, and teach me your ordinances!

119:136Streams of waters flowed down my eyes when I kept not your law.

119:137You are just, O lord, and your judgments are straight.

119:138You gave charge for righteousness of your testimonies and truth -- exceedingly.

119:139The zeal of you wasted me away, for my enemies forgot your words.

119:140Your oracle is an exceeding setting on fire; and your servant loves it.

119:141I am younger, and being treated with contempt; I did not forget your ordinances.

119:142Your righteousness is righteousness into the eon, and your law is truth.

119:143Afflictions and distresses found me; your commandments are my meditation.

119:144Your testimonies are righteousness into the eon. Bring understanding to me! and I shall live.

119:145I cried out with my whole heart. Heed me, O lord! I will seek after your ordinances.

119:146I cried out to you; deliver me! and I will keep your testimonies.

119:147I anticipated at midnight, and I cried out; in your words I raised hope.

119:148My eyes anticipated before dawn to meditate upon your oracles.

119:149Hear my voice, O lord, according to your mercy! Enliven me according to your judgment!

119:150The ones pursuing me lawlessly draw near, and they are far from your law.

119:151You are near, O lord, and all your ways are truth.

119:152From ancient times I knew of your testimonies, that into the eon you founded them.

119:153Behold my humiliation, and rescue me! for I did not forget your law.

119:154Judge my case, and ransom me! On account of your word enliven me!

119:155Deliverance is far from sinners, for they did not seek after your ordinances.

119:156Your compassions are many, O lord; according to your judgment enliven me!

119:157Many are the ones driving me out and afflicting me; from your testimonies I did not turn aside.

119:158I beheld ones lacking sense and wasting away, for they kept not your oracles.

119:159Behold! for I loved your commandments, O lord; in your mercy enliven me!

119:160The beginning of your words is truth; and into the eon are all the judgments of your righteousness.

119:161Rulers pursued me without charge; and from your words my heart was timid.

119:162I shall exult over your oracles, as one finding many spoils.

119:163Injustice I detested and abhorred; but your law I loved.

119:164Seven times a day I praised you over the judgments of your righteousness.

119:165Great peace is to the ones loving your law, and there is no obstacle to them.

119:166I expected your deliverance, O lord, and loved your commandments.

119:167My soul guarded your testimonies, and it loved them very much.

119:168I kept your commandments and your testimonies, for all my ways are before you, O lord.

119:169Let my supplication approach before you, O lord! according to your oracle bring understanding to me!

119:170May that which is fit of me enter before you, O lord; according to your oracle rescue me!

119:171My lips discharged forth a hymn, whenever you should teach me your ordinances.

119:172May my tongue utter the sound of your oracles, for all your commandments are righteousness.

119:173Let your hand be to deliver me! for I took up your commandments.

119:174I longed after your deliverance, O lord, and your law is my meditation.

119:175My soul shall live, and it shall praise you; and your judgments shall help me.

119:176I wandered as a sheep perishing. Seek your servant! for your commandments I did not forget.
