Psalms 68
To the director; a psalm of an ode; to David.
68:1Let God arise, and let his enemies be dispersed, and let the ones detesting him flee from his face!
68:2As smoke dissipates, let them dissipate! As beeswax melts away from the face of the fire, thus shall the sinners be destroyed from the face of God.
68:3But let the just be glad! Let them exult in the presence of God! Let them be made happy with gladness!
68:4Sing to God! Strum to his name! Open the way to the one being mounted unto the west -- the lord is his name, and exult before him! They shall be disturbed before his face.
68:5The father of the orphans, and judge of the widows -- God in his holy place.
68:6God settles simple people in a house; leading out the prisoners being shackled in courage; in like manner the ones being greatly embittered, dwelling in tombs.
68:7O God, in your going forth before your people in your passing over in the wilderness,
68:8the earth was shaken. For even the heavens dripped water before the face of the God of Sinai; before the face of the God of Israel.
68:9Will you separate rain as a voluntary act, O God, for your inheritance? Even it was weak, but you restored it.
68:10Your living creatures dwell in it; you prepared in your graciousness for the poor.
68:11The lord God shall give discourse to the ones announcing good news for a great force.
68:12The king of the forces of the beloved, for the beauty of the house to divide the spoils.
68:13If you should sleep in the midst of the lots, the wings of the dove being silver plated, and her upper back in greenness of gold;
68:14in the heavenly one drawing apart the kings upon it, they shall be made as snow in Salmon.
68:15The mountain of God; the mountain being plentiful; the mountain for making cheese; the mountain being plentiful.
68:16Why do you undertake, O mountains making cheese, the mountain which God thinks well to dwell in it? For even the lord encamps unto the end.
68:17The chariot of God -- ten thousand-fold; thousands of prospering ones. The lord among them in Sinai, in the holy place.
68:18You ascended into the height; you captured captivity; you received gifts by men; for even to encamp among the ones resisting persuasion.
68:19The lord God blessed. Blessed be the lord day by day, for you greatly prospered us, O God of our deliverances.
68:20Our God, the God to deliver, even the lord delivering the ones at the outer reaches of death.
68:21But God shall fracture in pieces the heads of his enemies; the hairy tops of heads traveling in their trespasses.
68:22The lord said from out of Bashan, I shall return. I shall return in the depths of the sea.
68:23That your foot should be dipped in blood, and the tongue of your dogs be stained from his enemies.
68:24Your goings were viewed, O God; the goings of my God, the king, in the holy place.
68:25Rulers went beforehand being next to ones strumming, in the midst of young women performing on tambourines.
68:26In assemblies bless God! the lord from the springs of Israel.
68:27There Benjamin the younger is in astonishment, even the rulers of Judah, and their governors, the rulers of Zebulun, the rulers of Naphtali.
68:28Give charge, O God, to your power! Strengthen, O God! this which you worked out among us.
68:29Because of your temple at Jerusalem kings will bring gifts to you.
68:30Give reproach to the wild beasts of the reed! the gathering of the bulls among the heifers of the peoples; to lock up the ones being tried by silver. Disperse the nations! the ones wanting wars.
68:31Ambassadors shall come from out of Egypt. Ethiopia shall go beforehand with her hand to God.
68:32O kingdoms of the earth, sing to God! Strum to the lord! PAUSE.
68:33to the one mounting upon the heaven of the heaven, according to the east. Behold, he shall make his voice a sound of power.
68:34Give glory to God! his majesty is over Israel, and his power is in the clouds.
68:35God is wonderful in his holy places. The God of Israel -- he shall give power and fortification to his people. Blessed be God.
