Psalms 148

Alleluiah. of Haggai and Zachariah.

148:1Praise the lord from out of the heavens! Praise him in the highest!

148:2Praise him all you his angels! Praise him all his forces!

148:3Praise him O sun and moon! Praise him all the stars, and the light!

148:4Praise him O heavens of the heavens, and the water up above the heavens!

148:5Praise the name of the lord! For he spoke, and they existed. He gave charge, and they were created.

148:6He established them into the eon, and into the eon of the eon. He made an order, and it shall not pass away.

148:7Praise the lord from the earth, O dragons and all abysses!

148:8fire, hail, snow, ice, wind, blast -- the things executing his word;

148:9the mountains and all the hills; the trees bearing fruit, and all the cedars;

148:10the wild beasts and all the cattle; the reptiles, and feathered winged creatures;

148:11kings of the earth, and all peoples; rulers and all judges of the earth;

148:12young men and virgins; elders with younger;

148:13let them praise the name of the lord! For his name alone is exalted. The acknowledgment of him is above the earth and heaven.

148:14And he shall exalt the horn of his people. A hymn to all his sacred ones; to the sons of Israel; to a people approaching to him.
