Psalms 123

An ode of the steps.

123:1To you I lifted my eyes, O one dwelling in the heaven.

123:2Behold, as eyes of servants are to the hands of their masters; as the eyes of the maidservant to the hands of her lady; so our eyes are to the lord our God, until of which time he should pity us.

123:3Show mercy on us, O lord, show mercy on us! for unto greatly we filled of contempt.

123:4Our soul was more greatly filled; let scorn be against they that prosper; and contempt against the proud.
