Psalms 1

1:1Blessed is a man who went not in counsel of impious ones, and stood not in the way of sinners, and sat not upon a chair of mischievous ones.

1:2But his will is in the law of the lord; and in his law he shall meditate day and night.

1:3And he will be as the tree being planted by the outlet of the waters, which gives his fruit in his season, and his leaf shall not drop down; and all as much as he should do will greatly prosper.

1:4Not so the impious, not so; but is as dust which the wind casts forth from the face of the earth.

1:5On account of this the impious shall not rise up in judgment, nor the sinners in the counsel of the just.

1:6For the lord knows the way of the just, but the way of impious ones shall perish.
