Matthew 24

24:1And coming forth, Jesus went from the temple. And his disciples came forward to display to him the constructions of the temple.

24:2And Jesus said to them, Do you see all these things? Amen I say to you, In no way shall there be left here a stone upon a stone, which in any way shall be resting.

24:3And in his sitting down upon the mount of olives, there came forward to him the disciples in private, saying, Tell us when these things will be, and what is the sign of your arrival, and the completion of the age?

24:4And answering Jesus said to them, Take heed lest any should mislead you!

24:5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ. And they shall mislead many.

24:6But you shall be about to hear of wars and reports of wars. Look to it! lest you be alarmed, for all these things must take place, but not yet is the end.

24:7For nation shall rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, and pestilent things, and earthquakes in places.

24:8And all these things are the beginning of birth-pangs.

24:9Then they shall deliver you unto affliction, and shall kill you; and you shall be ones being detested by all the nations on account of my name.

24:10And then many shall be stumbled, and they shall deliver up one another, and they shall detest one another.

24:11And many false prophets shall arise, and they shall mislead many.

24:12And on account of the multiplying the lawlessness, the love of many shall be made cold.

24:13But the one remaining unto the end, this one shall be delivered.

24:14And this good news of the kingdom shall be proclaimed in the entire inhabitable world, for a testimony to all the ones among the nations; and then shall come the end.

24:15Whenever then you should behold the abomination of the desolation, the thing having been spoken through Daniel the prophet, standing in a holy place; (the one reading let him comprehend!)

24:16Then the ones in Judea, let them flee unto the mountains!

24:17The one upon the roof, let him not go down to lift anything from out of his house.

24:18And the one in the field, let him not turn back to carry his garments.

24:19But woe to the ones having one in the womb, and the ones nursing in those days.

24:20And pray that your flight into exile should not take place in winter, nor on the Sabbath.

24:21For there will be then great affliction, such as has not taken place from the beginning of the world until the present, nor in any way to be.

24:22And unless those days were cut short, not even was any flesh delivered. But on account of the chosen ones those days shall be cut short.

24:23Then if any should say to you, Behold, here is the Christ, or here; you should not believe.

24:24For shall arise false christs and false prophets, and they will give great signs and miracles, so as to mislead, if possible, even the chosen ones.

24:25Behold, I described to you beforehand.

24:26If then they should say to you, Behold, he is in the wilderness; you should not go forth. or, Behold, he is in the inner chambers; you should not believe it.

24:27For as the lightning comes forth from the east, and shines forth unto the west, so will be also the arrival of the son of man.

24:28For where ever might be the corpse, there the eagles will be gathered together.

24:29And immediately after the affliction of those days, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give its brightness, and the stars shall fall from the heaven, and the forces of the heavens shall be shaken.

24:30And then shall appear the sign of the son of man in the heaven. And then all the tribes of the earth shall beat their chest. And they shall see the son of man coming upon the clouds of the heaven with power and great glory.

24:31And he shall send his angels with a trumpet of great sound. And they shall assemble his chosen from out of the four winds, from the tips of the heavens unto their tips.

24:32But from the fig-tree learn the parable! Whenever already its branches become tender, and the leaves spring forth, know that summer is near.

24:33So also you, whenever you behold all these things, know that it is near at the doors.

24:34Amen I say to you, In no way should this generation pass away until whenever all these things should come to pass.

24:35The heaven and the earth shall pass away, but my words in no way shall pass away.

24:36But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of the heavens, only my father alone.

24:37And as the days of Noah, so will be also the arrival of the son of man.

24:38For as were in the days, the ones before the flood, gnawing and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, as far as of which day Noah entered into the ark,

24:39and they did not know, until the flood came and lifted all. So it will be also in the arrival of the son of man.

24:40Then two will be in the field; the one shall be taken by himself, and the one left.

24:41Two women grinding at the mill; one shall be taken by herself, and one left.

24:42Be vigilant then, for you know not what hour your Lord comes!

24:43But this know! that if the master of the house knew what watch the thief comes, he would have been vigilant, and he would not have allowed his house to be dug through.

24:44On account of this you also be prepared! for in which hour you think not, the son of man comes.

24:45Who then is the trustworthy and practical manservant whom his master placed over his service, to give to them provision in season?

24:46Blessed is that servant whom his master having come shall find doing thus.

24:47Amen I say to you that, Over all his possessions he shall place him.

24:48But if that evil servant should say in his heart, My master passes time to come;

24:49and he should begin to beat the fellow-servants, and to eat and drink with the ones being intoxicated;

24:50the master of that servant shall come in a day in which he does not expect, and in an hour in which he knows not.

24:51And he shall cut him in pieces, and his portion will be established with the hypocrites. There, there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of the teeth.
