Matthew 25

25:1Then shall be likened the kingdom of the heavens to ten virgins, the ones who having taken their lamps went forth to meet the groom.

25:2And five of them were practical, and the five moronish.

25:3The ones who were moronish, having taken their lamps, did not take oil with themselves.

25:4But the practical took oil in their receptacles with their lamps.

25:5But the groom passing time, they all slumbered and slept.

25:6And in the middle of the night a cry came, Behold, the groom comes, go forth to meet him!

25:7Then arose all those virgins, and they trimmed their lamps.

25:8And the moronish said to the practical, Give to us from your oil! for our lamps are extinguishing.

25:9And the practical answered, saying, No, lest at any time it should not be sufficient to us and to you; but you go rather to the ones selling, and buy for yourselves.

25:10And of their going forth to buy, the groom came; and the ones prepared entered with him unto the wedding feasts; and the door was locked.

25:11And afterwards came also the remaining virgins, saying, O Master, O Master, open to us!

25:12And he answering said, Amen I say to you, I do not know you.

25:13Be vigilant then! for you know not the day nor the hour in which the son of man comes.

25:14For as a man traveling abroad called his own servants, and delivered up to them his possessions.

25:15And to one he gave five talents, and to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and he traveled abroad immediately.

25:16And having gone, the one receiving the five talents worked with them, and made another five talents.

25:17Likewise also the one receiving the two, he gained himself also another two.

25:18And the one receiving the one, having gone forth dug in the ground, and concealed the money of his master.

25:19And after a long time came the master of those servants. And he takes up a reckoning with them.

25:20And having come forward the one receiving the five talents, brought another five talents, saying, O Master, five talents to me you delivered; see, another five talents I gained besides them!

25:21And his master said to him, Well done, O good and trustworthy servant, over a few things you were trustworthy, over many I will place you; enter into the joy of your master!

25:22And coming forward also the one receiving the two talents, said, O Master, two talents you delivered up to me; see, another two talents I gained besides them!

25:23And his master said to him, Well done, O good and trustworthy servant, over a few things you were trustworthy, over many I will place you; enter into the joy of your master!

25:24And having come forward also the one having taken the one talent, said, O Master, I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you sowed not, and gathering from where you dispersed not.

25:25And fearing, having gone forth, I hid your talent in the ground; see, you have yours!

25:26And responding his master said to him, O Wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I harvest where I sowed not, and gather from where I dispersed not.

25:27It was necessary then for you to put my money with the bankers; and coming I be delivered whatever was mine with interest.

25:28Take then from him the talent, and give it to the one having the ten talents!

25:29For to every one having shall be given, and shall abound; but from the one not having, even what he has shall be taken from him.

25:30And cast out the useless servant into outer darkness! There, there will be the weeping and gnashing of the teeth.

25:31And whenever comes the son of man in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory.

25:32And he shall gather together before him all the nations, and he will separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the kids of the goats.

25:33And he will set the sheep indeed on his right, and the little kids on his left.

25:34Then the king shall say to the ones on his right, Come, O ones being blessed of my father, inherit the kingdom being prepared for you from the founding of the world!

25:35For I hungered, and you gave me to eat; I thirsted, and you gave me a drink; I was a stranger, and you brought me in;

25:36naked, and you clothed me; I was sick, and you visited me; I was in prison, and you came to me.

25:37Then the righteous will answer to him, saying, O Master, when did we see you hungering, and we nourished you; or thirsting, and we gave you a drink?

25:38And when did we behold you a stranger, and brought you in? or naked, and we clothed you?

25:39And when did we behold you sick or in prison, and we came to you?

25:40And answering the king shall say to them, Amen I say to you, in as much as you did to one of these the least of my brethren you did to me.

25:41Then he will say also to the ones on his left, Go from me! O ones being cursed into the eternal fire, the one having been prepared for the devil and his angels.

25:42For I hungered, and you did not give to me to eat; I thirsted, and you did not give me a drink;

25:43I was a stranger, and you did not bring me in; naked, and you did not clothe me; sick and in prison, and you did not visit me.

25:44Then they also will answer to him, saying, O Master, when did we behold you hungering, or thirsting, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and we did not serve to you?

25:45Then he will answer to them, saying, Amen I say to you, if as much as you did not do to one of the least of these, not even to me did you do.

25:46And these shall go forth unto eternal punishment; but the righteous unto life eternal.
