Matthew 19
19:1And it came to pass when Jesus finished these words, he moved from Galilee, and he came unto the borders of Judea on the other side of the Jordan.
19:2And great multitudes followed him; and he cured them there.
19:3And the Pharisees came forward to him testing him, and saying to him, Is it allowed to a man to dismiss his wife for every reason?
19:4And he answering said to them, Did you not read that the one making from the beginning, made them male and female.
19:5And he said, On account of this a man shall leave the father and the mother, and shall cleave to his wife, and the two will be for one flesh.
19:6So that no longer are they two, but one flesh. What then God yoked together, let not man separate!
19:7They say to him, Why then did Moses give charge to give a scroll of divorce, and to dismiss her?
19:8He says to them that, Moses for the hardness of your heart committed to your care to dismiss your wives; but from the beginning it happened not thus.
19:9And I say to you, that who ever should dismiss his wife, not for harlotry, and should marry another, commits adultery; and the one being dismissed marrying, commits adultery.
19:10His disciples say to him, If thus is the fault of the man with the wife, it is not advantageous to marry.
19:11And he said to them, Not all have space for this word, but to the ones whom it has been given.
19:12For there are eunuchs, the ones who from the mother's belly were procreated thus; and there are eunuchs, the ones who were made eunuchs by men; and there are eunuchs, the ones who made eunuchs of themselves on account of the kingdom of the heavens. The one being able to have space, let him have space!
19:13Then they brought to him children that he should place the hands upon them, and should pray for them; but the disciples reproached them.
19:14And Jesus said, Allow the children, and do not restrain them to come to me! for of such is the kingdom of the heavens.
19:15And having placed the hands upon them, he went from there.
19:16And behold, one having come forward said to him, Good teacher, what good thing shall I do, that I should have life eternal?
19:17And he said to him, Why do you call me good? no one is good except one -- God. But if you want to enter into the life, keep the commandments!
19:18He says to him, Which? And Jesus said, The one -- you shall not murder; you shall not commit adultery; you shall not steal; you shall not witness falsely;
19:19esteem your father and your mother; and, you shall love your neighbor as yourself.
19:20The young man says to him, All these I kept from my youth; what still do I lack?
19:21Jesus said to him, If you want to be perfect, go away and sell your possessions, and give to poor ones! and you shall have treasure in heaven. And come, follow me!
19:22And the young man having heard the word went forth fretting; for he was holding many possessions.
19:23And Jesus said to his disciples, Amen I say to you that, with difficulty a rich man shall enter into the kingdom of the heavens.
19:24And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the hole made by an awl, than a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
19:25And having heard, his disciples were overwhelmed exceedingly, saying, Who then is able to be delivered?
19:26And looking, Jesus said to them, By men this is impossible, but by God all things are possible.
19:27Then responding Peter said to him, Behold, we left all, and followed you; what then will be to us?
19:28And Jesus said to them, Amen I say to you, that you, the ones following me, in the regeneration, whenever the son of man should be seated upon the throne of his glory, you shall sit also upon twelve thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
19:29And every one who left house, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or fields, because of my name, shall receive a hundred-fold, and shall inherit eternal life.
19:30But many first will be last, and last first.
