Psalms 24

A psalm to David of the one of the Sabbaths.

24:1The earth is of the lord, and the fullness of it; the inhabitable world, and all the ones dwelling in it.

24:2He founded it upon seas; and upon rivers he prepared it.

24:3Who shall ascend into the mountain of the lord, or who shall stand in his holy place?

24:4Innocent hands and a pure heart, who did not take hold upon vain things for his soul, and did not swear by an oath with treachery against his neighbor.

24:5This one shall receive a blessing by the lord, and charity from God his deliverer.

24:6This is the generation seeking the lord, seeking the face of the God of Jacob.

24:7Let your rulers lift the gates! and let the eternal gates be lifted up! and the king of glory shall enter.

24:8Who is this king of glory? The lord, fortified and mighty; the lord mighty in battle.

24:9Let your rulers lift the gates! and let the eternal gates be lifted up! and the king of glory shall enter.

24:10Who is this king of glory? The lord of the forces, he is the king of glory.
