Matthew 28

28:1And late on Sabbath, in the evening on day one of Sabbath, came Mary the Magdalene, and the other Mary, to view the tomb.

28:2And behold, a great earthquake took place; for an angel of the Lord having come down from out of heaven, having come forward, rolled the stone from the door, and was sitting down upon it.

28:3And his shape was as lightning, and his garment white as snow.

28:4And from the fear of him the ones keeping guard shook, and became as dead.

28:5And the angel responding said to the women, You fear not! for I know that you seek Jesus the one having been crucified.

28:6He is not here, for he is risen as he said. Come, behold the place where the Lord was situated!

28:7And quickly going, say to his disciples! that, He is risen from the the dead, and behold, he goes before you into Galilee; there you shall see him. Behold, I told to you.

28:8And having gone forth quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy, they ran to report to his disciples.

28:9As they were going to report to his disciples, that behold, Jesus met them, saying, Hail! And they having come forward held his feet, and did obeisance to him.

28:10Then Jesus says to them, Fear not! Go! report to my brethren! that they should go forth into Galilee, and there they shall see me.

28:11And of their going, behold, some of the custodial guard having come into the city reported to the chief priests all the things happening.

28:12And having gathered together with the elders, and council having taken, they gave the soldiers enough silver,

28:13saying, Say that, His disciples having come by night stole him, of us being asleep!

28:14And if this should be heard by the governor, we shall persuade him, and we will make you free from care.

28:15And they having taken the money, did as they were taught. And was spread abroad this word by the Jews unto today.

28:16But the eleven disciples went into Galilee, unto the mountain where Jesus ordered them.

28:17And seeing him, they did obeisance to him; but some hesitated.

28:18And having come forward, Jesus spoke to them, saying, All authority was given to me in heaven and upon earth.

28:19Going then, disciple all the nations! immersing them in the name of the father, and of the son, and of the holy spirit.

28:20Teaching them to give heed to all as much as I gave charge to you. And behold, I am with you all the days until the completion of the age. Amen.
