Job 18
18:1And undertaking, Baldad the Shuhite says,
18:2Until when will you cease? Wait! that also we should speak to these things.
18:3Why as if four-footed beasts do we keep silent before you?
18:4Anger has dealt with you. For what if you should die, will it be uninhabited under heaven? or shall mountains be eradicated from their foundations?
18:5But the light of the impious shall be extinguished, and their flame shall not turn out to be;
18:6his light will be darkness in his habitation, and the lamp over him shall be extinguished.
18:7May the least of men hunt his possessions; and may his counsel trip him.
18:8And may his foot be put in a snare; may he be coiled in a net;
18:9and may there come upon him snares; ones thirsting shall grow strong against him.
18:10His line is hidden in the earth, and the thing seizing him is upon the roads.
18:11May griefs destroy him round about, and may many things come around his foot.
18:12But in hunger an extraordinary severe downfall is prepared for him.
18:13And may the soles of his feet be devoured, and death shall devour his beautiful things.
18:14And may healing be torn from his habitation; and may he have himself distress by reason of a royal decree.
18:15It shall encamp in his tent in his night; his beautiful things shall be scattered with sulphur.
18:16His roots shall be dried from beneath, and on top his harvest shall fall.
18:17May his memorial be destroyed from the earth, and what exists to his name upon the face outer.
18:18May one thrust him from light unto darkness; and from the inhabitable world they displaced him.
18:19He will not be well known among his people, nor will his house be preserved in the place under heaven.
18:20But in his house others shall live; the last moaned for him, and the first had wonder.
18:21These are the houses of the unjust, and this is the place of the ones not knowing the lord.
