Exodus 31
31:1And the lord spoke to Moses, saying,
31:2Behold, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.
31:3And I filled him a divine spirit of wisdom, and understanding, and higher knowledge, to consider in every work,
31:4and to supervise construction; to work the gold, and the silver, and the brass, and the blue, and the purple and the spun scarlet,
31:5and the linen being twined, and the stonecutting works, and for the woodworkers of the works of wood -- to work according to all the works.
31:6And I have given him even Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan. And to every one discerning in heart I have given understanding. And they shall make all as much as I gave orders to you --
31:7the tent of the testimony, and the ark of the covenant, and the atonement-seat, the one upon it, and the equipment of the tent,
31:8and the altars, and the table, and all the utensils for it, and the pure lamp-stand, and all the utensils for it,
31:9and the bathing tub, and its base,
31:10and the ministry apparels of Aaron, and the apparels of his sons in the officiating as priest to me,
31:11and the anointing oil, and the incense of the composition of the holy place -- according to all as much as I gave charge to you they shall make.
31:12And the lord spoke to Moses, saying,
31:13You also speak to the sons of Israel! saying, Perceive, and guard my Sabbaths! For it is a sign by me and among you unto your generations, that you might know that I the lord am the one sanctifying you.
31:14And you shall guard the Sabbath, for it is holy to you. The one profaning it, unto death shall be put to death. Every one who shall do work on it, that soul shall be utterly destroyed from the midst of his people.
31:15Six days you shall do works, but the seventh day is a holy Sabbath rest to the lord. All who shall do work on the day of the Sabbaths shall be put to death.
31:16And the sons of Israel shall guard the Sabbaths to observe them unto their generations.
31:17It is an eternal covenant with me and the sons of Israel, it is an eternal sign. For in six days the lord made the heaven and the earth, and on the seventh day he ceased and rested.
31:18And he gave to Moses, when he rested from speaking to him in mount Sinai, the two tablets of the testimony -- tablets of stone, written by the finger of God.
