Leviticus 1

1:1And he called Moses, and the lord spoke to him from out of the tent of the testimony, saying,

1:2Speak to the sons of Israel! And you shall say to them, A man of you, if he should bring gift offerings to the lord from the cattle, and from the oxen, and from the sheep -- you shall bring your gift offerings thus.

1:3If his gift offering be a whole burnt-offering of the oxen, he shall bring it as an unblemished male to the door of the tent of the testimony. He shall bring it as acceptable before the lord.

1:4And he shall place his hand upon the head of the yield offering acceptable to him, to atone for him.

1:5And they shall slay the calf before the lord, and the sons of Aaron the priests shall bring the blood, and they shall pour the blood upon the altar round about the one at the doors of the tent of the testimony.

1:6And flaying the whole burnt-offering, they shall dismember it by limbs.

1:7And the sons of Aaron the priests shall put fire upon the altar. And they shall pile wood upon the fire.

1:8And the sons of Aaron the priests shall pile up the pieces, and the head, and the fat upon the wood upon the fire being upon the altar.

1:9But the intestines and the feet they shall wash in water. And the priest shall place the whole amount upon the altar -- it is a yield offering sacrifice scent of pleasant aroma to the lord.

1:10And if his gift offering is from the sheep to the lord, or also from the lambs, and of the kids for a whole burnt-offering, he shall bring an unblemished male for it. And he shall place his hand upon its head.

1:11And they shall slay it by the side of the altar, towards the north before the lord. And the sons of Aaron the priests shall pour the blood of it upon the altar round about.

1:12And they shall divide it by limbs, and the head, and its fat. And the priests shall pile them upon the wood upon the fire upon the altar.

1:13And the intestines, and the feet they shall wash in water. And the priest shall bring the whole amount, and shall place them upon the altar -- it is a yield offering sacrifice scent of pleasant aroma to the lord.

1:14But if from the birds he should bring his gift yield offering to the lord, then he shall bring his gift from the turtle-doves or from the pigeons,

1:15and the priest shall bring it to the altar, and shall pluck off its head, and the priest shall place it upon the altar, and he shall wring out the blood to the base of the altar.

1:16And he shall remove the crop with the feathers, and cast them by the altar according to the east, into the place of the ashes.

1:17And he shall break it from the wings, and shall not divide it. And the priest shall place it upon the altar upon the wood upon the fire -- it is a yield offering sacrifice scent of pleasant aroma to the lord.
