1 John 1

1:1Which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we were spectators of, and our hands handled concerning the word of the life;

1:2(and the life was made manifest, and we have seen, and bear witness, and announce to you the eternal life which was with the father, and was made manifest to us,)

1:3which we have seen and have heard we report to you, that also you should have fellowship with us; and indeed the fellowship, the one of ours is with the father, and with his son Jesus Christ.

1:4And these things we write to you, that our joy is being full.

1:5And this is the promise which we have heard from him, and we announce to you, that God is light, and darkness is not in any way in him.

1:6If we should say that we have fellowship with him, and in the darkness should walk, we lie, and we do not observe the truth.

1:7But if we should walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his son cleanses us from all sin.

1:8If we should say that we do not have sin, we mislead ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

1:9If we should acknowledge our sins, he is trustworthy and just that he should have forgiven us the sins, and should have cleansed us from all iniquity.

1:10If we should say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
