Numbers 34
34:1And the lord spoke to Moses, saying,
34:2Give charge to the sons of Israel! And you shall say to them, You enter into the land of Canaan! this will be to you for an inheritance -- the land of Canaan with its boundaries.
34:3And it shall be to you the side towards the south from the wilderness of Zin unto being next to Edom. And it shall be to you the boundaries towards the south from the part of the salty sea from the east,
34:4and the borders shall encircle you from the south to the ascending of Akrabbim, and shall go by Ennak. And its outer reaches will be towards the south -- Kadesh Barnea. And it shall come forth unto the property of Addar, and shall go by Azmon.
34:5And it shall encircle the borders from Azmon to the rushing stream of Egypt, and the outer reaches will be the sea.
34:6And the boundaries of the west will be to you -- the great sea shall define the bounds. This will be to you the boundaries of the west.
34:7And this will be to you the boundaries towards the north. From the great sea you shall measure them to yourselves by the mountain.
34:8And from mount Hor you shall measure for yourselves entering into Hamath. And the outer reaches of it will be the borders of Zedad.
34:9And the borders shall go forth to Ziphron, and its outer reaches will be Hazer-enan. This will be to you the borders from the north.
34:10And you shall measure out to you yourselves the borders of the east from Hazar-enan to Shepham.
34:11And the borders shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, from the east by the springs. And the borders shall go down from Beel by the back of the sea of Chinnereth by the east.
34:12And the borders shall go down upon the Jordan, and the outer reaches will be the salty sea. This shall be to you the land and its borders round about.
34:13And Moses gave charge to the sons of Israel, saying, This is the land which you shall inherit it by lot, in which manner the lord gave orders to give it to the nine tribes, and the half tribe of Manasseh.
34:14For the tribe of the sons of Reuben received it according to the houses of their patrimony, and the tribe of the sons of Gad according to the houses of their patrimony, and the half tribe of Manasseh took their lots.
34:15Two tribes and a half tribe took their lots on the other side of the Jordan by Jericho from the south towards the east.
34:16And the lord spoke to Moses, saying,
34:17These are the names of the men, the one who shall allot for you the land -- Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.
34:18And one ruler from out of a tribe you shall take to allot for you the land.
34:19And these are the names of the men of the tribe of Judah -- Caleb son of Jephunneh.
34:20Of the tribe of Simeon -- Shemuel son of Amminhud.
34:21Of the tribe of Benjamin -- Elidad son of Chislon.
34:22Of the tribe of Dan -- ruler Bukki son of Jogli.
34:23Of the sons of Joseph, of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh -- ruler Hanniel son of Ephod.
34:24The tribe of the sons of Ephraim -- ruler Kemuel son of Shiphtan.
34:25Of the tribe of Zebulun -- ruler Elizaphan son of Parnach.
34:26Of the tribe of the sons of Issachar -- ruler Paltiel son of Azzan.
34:27Of the tribe of the sons of Asher -- ruler Ahihud son of Shelomi.
34:28Of the tribe of Naphtali -- ruler Pedahel son of Ammihud.
34:29These are the ones whom the lord gave charge to divide the inheritance to the sons of Israel in the land of Canaan.
