Mark 11

11:1And when they approached unto Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany to the mount of the olives, he sends two of his disciples.

11:2And he says to them, Go into the town in front of you! And immediately entering into it, you will find a foal being tied, upon which not one of men has sat; having untied it, lead it!

11:3And if anyone should say to you, Why do you do this? Say that, Its master has need; and immediately he will send it here!

11:4And they went forth and found the foal being tied at the door outside upon the plaza; and they untied it.

11:5And some of the ones standing there said to them, What do you do untying the foal?

11:6And they spoke to them as Jesus gave charge; and they allowed them.

11:7And they led the foal to Jesus, and they put upon it their cloaks; and he sat upon him.

11:8And many spread out their cloaks in the way; and others beat boughs from out of the trees, and spread them out in the way.

11:9And the ones leading before, and the ones following, cried out, saying, Hosanna, being blessed is the one coming in the name of the Lord.

11:10Being blessed is the coming kingdom in the name of the Lord, of the one of our father David. Hosanna in the highest.

11:11And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple. And having looked round about all, the hour being already late, he went forth into Bethany with the twelve.

11:12And in the next day of their coming forth from Bethany, he hungered.

11:13And beholding a fig-tree far off having leaves, he went to see if he shall find anything on it. And having come upon it, he found nothing except leaves; for it was not the season of figs.

11:14And responding Jesus said to it, No longer from you into the eon may not one fruit be to eat. And his disciples heard.

11:15And they come into Jerusalem; and Jesus having entered into the temple began to cast out the ones selling and buying in the temple; and the tables of the money-changers and the chairs of the ones selling the doves he overturned;

11:16and he did not allow that any carry vessels through the temple.

11:17And he taught, saying to them, Has it not been written that, My house shall be called a house of prayer by all the nations? But you made it a cave of robbers.

11:18And the scribes and the chief priests heard, and they sought how they should destroy him; for they feared him, for all the multitude were overwhelmed by his teaching.

11:19And when evening became, he went forth outside the city.

11:20And in the morning coming near, they beheld the fig-tree being dried up from the roots.

11:21And calling to mind, Peter says to him, Rabbi, see! the fig-tree which you cursed is dried up.

11:22And responding Jesus says to them, Have belief of God!

11:23For amen I say to you, that who ever should say to this mountain, Be lifted, and be thrown into the sea! and should not examine in his heart, but should trust that what he says takes place, it will be to him what ever he should say.

11:24On account of this I say to you, All as much as you ask praying, trust that you receive! and it will be to you.

11:25And whenever you stand firmly praying, forgive! if you have anything against anyone, that also your father, the one in the heavens should forgive you your transgressions.

11:26But if you do not forgive, not even your father, the one in the heavens, shall forgive your transgressions.

11:27And they come again into Jerusalem. And in the temple during his walking, there comes to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders.

11:28And they say to him, By what authority do you do these things? and, Who gave to you this authority that you should do these things?

11:29And Jesus answering said to them, And I shall ask you one matter, and you answer me, and I will tell to you by what authority I do these things!

11:30The immersion of John, was it from heaven or from men? You answer me!

11:31And they considered it among themselves, saying, If we should say, From heaven, he will say, Why then did you not believe him?

11:32But if we should say, From men -- they feared the people; for all held that John really was a prophet.

11:33And answering they say to Jesus, We do not know. And Jesus answering says to them, Nor I will tell you by what authority these things I do.
