Luke 17
17:1And he said to the disciples, It is inadmissible for the obstacles not to come; but woe to him through whom they come.
17:2It would be equitable for him if a millstone of a donkey was encompassed around his neck, and he be tossed into the sea, than that he should cause one of these small ones to stumble.
17:3Take heed to yourselves! And if your brother should sin against you, reproach him! And if he should repent, forgive him!
17:4And if seven times of the day he should sin against you, and seven times of the day should turn, saying, I repent, you shall forgive him.
17:5And the apostles said to the Lord, Add to us belief!
17:6And the Lord said, If you have belief as a kernel of mustard, you would have said to this sycamine tree, Be rooted out, and be planted in the sea! and it would have obeyed you.
17:7But who of you having a servant plowing or tending, who entering from out of the field, will say immediately, in his having arrived, Recline to eat!
17:8But will he not say to him, Prepare something! I should have supper; and girding yourself serve me! until I should have eaten and drunk, and after these things you shall eat and drink.
17:9Shall he have favor with that servant because he did the things being ordered to him? I think not.
17:10Thus also you, whenever you should have done all the things set in order for you, say that, We are useless servants; for what we ought to do we have done.
17:11And it came to pass in his going unto Jerusalem, and he went through the middle of Samaria and Galilee.
17:12And of his entering into a certain town, there met with him ten leprous men, which stood at a distance.
17:13And they lifted their voice, saying, Jesus, master, show mercy on us!
17:14And beholding, he said to them, Having gone, display yourselves to the priests! And it came to pass in their going away, they were cleansed.
17:15And one of them, beholding that he was healed, returned with a great voice glorifying God,
17:16and he fell upon his face by his feet giving thanks to him; and he was a Samaritan.
17:17And responding Jesus said, Were there not ten cleansed; but where are the nine?
17:18Were there not found any returning to give glory to God, except this foreigner?
17:19And he said to him, Having risen up, go! the belief of yours has delivered you.
17:20And having been asked by the Pharisees, When comes the kingdom of God? he answered them and said, The kingdom of God comes not with observation.
17:21Nor shall they say, Behold, here, or, Behold, there. For behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
17:22And he said to the disciples, There shall come days when you shall desire to see one of the days of the son of man, and you will not see it.
17:23And they shall say to you, Behold, here, or, Behold, there; do not go forth nor pursue!
17:24For as the lightning, the one flashing from out of the one place under heaven, radiates unto the other place under heaven; so it will be also the son of man in his day.
17:25But first it is necessary for him to suffer much, and to be rejected by this generation.
17:26And as it happened in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the son of man.
17:27They ate, they drank, they married, they gave in marriage, as far as which day Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came and destroyed all.
17:28In like manner also as it happened in the days of Lot; they ate, they drank, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building;
17:29but in which day Lot went forth from Sodom, it rained fire and sulphur from heaven, and it destroyed all.
17:30According to these things it will be in which day the son of man is revealed.
17:31In that day the one who shall be upon the roof, and his items in the house, let him not go down to take them! And the one in the field, in like manner, let him not return to the things behind!
17:32Remember Lot's wife!
17:33Who ever should seek to preserve his soul shall lose it; and who ever should lose it brings it forth alive.
17:34I say to you, In this night there will be two upon one bed; the one will be taken, and the other will be left.
17:35Two women will be grinding together; one will be taken, and the other will be left.
17:36Two men shall be in the field; the one will be taken and the other will be left.
17:37And responding they say to him, Where, O Lord? And he said to them, Where the body, there the eagles will be gathered.
