John 17

17:1These things Jesus spoke, and lifted up his eyes unto the heaven, and said, O father, the hour has come; glorify your son! that also your son should glorify you.

17:2As you gave to him authority over all flesh, that all whom you have given to him, he gives to them life eternal.

17:3And this is the eternal life, that they should know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you sent.

17:4I glorified you upon the earth; I perfected the work which you have given to me that I should do.

17:5And now you glorify me, O father, with the glory of yourself! which I had with you before the world being in existence.

17:6I made manifest your name to the men whom you have given to me from out of the world. They were yours, and you have given them to me; and your word they have given heed.

17:7Now they have known that all things, as many as you have given to me, are from you.

17:8For the words which you have given to me, I have given to them; and they received, and they know truly that from you I came forth, and they believed that you sent me.

17:9I ask concerning them; not concerning the world do I ask, but concerning whom you have given to me; for they are yours.

17:10And the ones mine are all yours; and the ones yours mine; and I have been glorified in them.

17:11And no longer am I in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to you. O holy father, keep them in your name! the ones whom you have given to me, that they might be one, as we.

17:12When I was with them in the world, I kept them in your name; whom you have given to me I guarded, and not one of them perished, except the son of destruction; that the scripture should be fulfilled.

17:13And now to you I come, and these things I speak in the world, that they should have my joy having been filled in them.

17:14I have given to them your word; and the world detested them, for they are not of the world, as I am not of the world.

17:15I ask not that you should take them from out of the world, but that you should keep them from the evil.

17:16They are not of the world, as I am not of the world.

17:17Sanctify them in your truth! Your word is truth.

17:18As you sent me into the world, I also send them into the world.

17:19And for them I sanctify myself, that also they might be ones having been sanctified in truth.

17:20And I ask not for these only, but also for the ones believing in me through their word;

17:21that all might be one; as you, O father, are in me, and I in you, that also they in us might be one; that the world should believe that you sent me.

17:22And I have given to them the glory which you have given to me, that they should be one, as we are one.

17:23I in them, and you in me, that they should be perfected into one; and that the world should know that you sent me, and loved them, as you loved me.

17:24O father, whom you have given to me, I want that where I am, also those should be with me; that they should view my glory, which you gave to me; for you loved me before the founding of the world.

17:25O Righteous father, even the world did not know you, but I knew you, and these knew that you sent me.

17:26And I made known to them your name, and I will make it known; that the love which you loved me should be in them, and I in them.
