Isaiah 26
26:1In that day they shall sing this song upon the land of Judea, Behold, a strong city; and he shall establish our deliverance for the wall and rampart.
26:2Open O gates! Enter! O people guarding righteousness, and guarding truth;
26:3taking hold of truth, and guarding peace.
26:4For upon you we hoped, O lord unto the eon, the great eternal God;
26:5who humbling, he led down the ones dwelling on high. You shall throw down fortified cities, and lead them down unto the ground.
26:6And gentle feet will tread them and of humble rostrums.
26:7The way of the pious becomes straight; and the way of the pious is being prepared.
26:8For the way of the lord is equitable; we hoped upon your name, and upon the remembrance of you
26:9which our soul desires. From out of the night my spirit rises early to you, O God, because your orders are light upon the earth. Learn righteousness, O ones dwelling upon the earth!
26:10For the impious ceases; in no way should he learn righteousness upon the earth; no way should he execute truth. Lift away the impious! that he should not behold the glory of the lord.
26:11O lord, your arm is high, but they did not know; but in knowing they shall be ashamed; zeal shall take hold of an uninstructed people; and now fire shall devour the adversaries.
26:12O lord our God, give peace to us! for all things you rendered to us.
26:13O lord our God, acquire us! O lord, outside of you there is no other we know. We named your name.
26:14But the dead in no way shall see life, nor shall physicians in any way raise them up. On account of this you struck, and destroyed; and you lifted away every male of them.
26:15Add to them bad things, O lord, add bad things to the glorious ones of the earth!
26:16O lord, in affliction we remembered you; in small affliction your instruction is with us.
26:17And as a woman travailing approaches to give birth, and over her birth pangs she cries out, so we were to your beloved.
26:18Because of the fear of you, O lord, we conceived in the womb, and travailed, and birthed the breath of your deliverance, which you did upon the earth. We shall not fall, but all the ones dwelling upon the earth shall fall.
26:19The dead shall rise up, and the ones in the sepulchres shall be raised, and the ones in the earth shall be glad, for the dew by you is a cure to them; but the land of the impious shall fall.
26:20Proceed, O my people! Enter into your inner chambers! Lock your door! Be concealed a little! as much as this, as much as that, until whenever the anger of the lord should go by.
26:21For behold the lord brings anger from the holy place upon the ones dwelling upon the earth; and the earth shall uncover her blood, and shall not cover up the ones being done away with any more.
