Genesis 9

9:1And God blessed Noah, and his sons, and said to them, Grow and multiply, and fill the earth, and dominate it!

9:2And the fear of you and trembling will be upon all the wild beasts of the earth, upon all the winged creatures of the heaven, and upon all the things moving upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea. Under your hands I have given them to you.

9:3And every reptile which is living shall be to you for food; as I have given all vegetation of grass to you.

9:4Except you shall not eat meat with the blood of life.

9:5For even your blood -- of the blood of your lives at the hand of all the wild beasts I shall require it, and from the hand of a man's brother I shall require it.

9:6The one shedding blood of a man, in return his blood shall be shed; for in the image of God I made the man.

9:7But you grow, and multiply, and fill the earth, and multiply upon the earth!

9:8And God said to Noah, and to his sons, saying,

9:9Behold, I raise up my covenant to you, and to your seed after you,

9:10and every living soul after you, from fowls and from cattle, and with all the wild beasts of the earth, as many as are with you, from all the ones coming forth from out of the ark.

9:11And I will establish my covenant with you, and all flesh will not die any longer from the water of the flood; and there shall not be any longer a flood of water to lay waste all the earth.

9:12And God said to Noah, This is the sign of the covenant which I execute between me and you, and between every living soul, as many as are with you for eternal generations.

9:13I put my bow in the cloud, and it will be for a sign of covenant between me and the earth.

9:14And it will be in my collecting together the clouds upon the earth, the bow will be seen in the cloud.

9:15And I will remember my covenant which is between me and you, and between every living soul among all flesh. And there will not be any longer the water for a flood so as to wipe away all flesh.

9:16And my bow will be in the cloud; and I will see it to remember the eternal covenant between me and the earth, and between the living soul which is in all flesh upon the earth.

9:17And God said to Noah, This is the sign of the covenant of which I ordained between me and between all flesh which is upon the earth.

9:18And these were the sons of Noah, the ones coming forth from the ark, Shem, Ham, Japheth. And Ham was father of Canaan.

9:19These three are the sons of Noah. From these, men were disseminated upon all the earth.

9:20And Noah the man began to be a farmer of the land. And he planted a vineyard,

9:21and drank from the wine, and became intoxicated, and became naked in his house.

9:22And Ham the father of Canaan looked at the nakedness of his father; and going forth, he announced it to his two brothers outside.

9:23And Shem and Japheth taking the cloak, placed it upon their two backs, and went backwards, and they covered up the nakedness of their father; and their face was backwards, and they did not look at the nakedness of their father.

9:24And Noah sobered up from the wine, and knew as much as his younger son did to him.

9:25And he said, Accursed be Canaan -- a child, he will be a domestic servant to his brothers.

9:26And he said, Blessed be the lord God of Shem, and Canaan will be his domestic servant.

9:27May God widen to Japheth, and let him dwell in the tents of Shem, and let Canaan become their servant.

9:28And Noah lived after the flood three hundred fifty years.

9:29And all the days of Noah were nine hundred fifty years, and he died.
