2 Corinthians 5
5:1For we know that if our earthly house of the tent be rested up, we have a construction from God, a house not made by hands, eternal in the heavens.
5:2For also in this we moan, longing to put on our dwelling-place -- the one of heaven;
5:3if indeed also being clothed, we shall not be found naked.
5:4For also we the ones being in the tent moan, being weighed down; since we do not want to be stripped, but to put on, that the mortal should be swallowed down by the life.
5:5And the one manufacturing us for this same thing is God, the one also having given to us the deposit of the spirit.
5:6Taking courage then at all times, and knowing that while dwelling at home in the body, we are abroad from the Lord.
5:7For by belief we walk, not by sight.
5:8And we take courage, and we take pleasure rather to be abroad from the body, and to dwell at home with the Lord.
5:9Therefore also we strive earnestly, whether dwelling at home or whether being abroad, to be well-pleasing to him.
5:10For all the ones of us must be manifested before the rostrum of the Christ, that each should receive the things of the body, as to what he practiced, whether good or whether bad.
5:11Knowing then the fear of the Lord, we persuade men. But to God we have been made apparent; and I hope also in your consciences we have been made apparent.
5:12For we do not commend ourselves again to you, but are giving you opportunity for boasting over us, that you should have something against the ones boasting in appearance, and not in heart.
5:13For whether we were startled, it was to God; or whether we were of a sound mind, it is for you.
5:14For the love of the Christ constrains us, having adjudged this, that if one died for all, then all died;
5:15and that he died for all, that the ones living no longer should live to themselves, but to the one having died for them and arising.
5:16So that we from the present know nothing according to the flesh. And if also we have known Christ according to the flesh, but now no longer do we know him thus.
5:17So that if anyone be in Christ, there is a new creation, the old things passed away; behold, all things have become new.
5:18And all things are of God, of the reconciling us to himself through Jesus Christ, and having given to us the service of the of reconciliation;
5:19how that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not imputing to them their transgressions, and having put in us the word of the reconciliation.
5:20For of Christ then we are ambassadors, as of God appealing through us; we beseech for Christ -- be reconciled to God!
5:21For the one not knowing sin, he made a sin offering for us, that we should be righteousness of God by him.
