1 Timothy 5
5:1You should not rebuke an elder, but appeal to him as a father! younger men as brethren;
5:2elder women as mothers; younger women as sisters, with all purity.
5:3Esteem widows, the ones really widows!
5:4And if any widow has children or progeny, let them learn first to be pious for their own house, and to repay a repayment to their precursors! for this is good and worthy of being received before God.
5:5And the one really a widow, and being left alone, has hope in God, and remains in the supplications and in the prayers night and day.
5:6But the one living extravagantly, while living, has died.
5:7And these things exhort, that they should be unassailable!
5:8And if any does not think beforehand of his own and especially of the ones of his family, he has denied the belief, and is worse than unbelieving.
5:9Let not a widow be enrolled being less than sixty years old a wife of one husband,
5:10with good works being witnessed, if she reared children, if she was hospitable, if holy one's feet she washed, if to the ones being afflicted she assisted, if every good work she followed after.
5:11And younger widows refuse; for whenever they should grow careless towards the Christ, they want to marry,
5:12having judgment, because the first belief they disregarded.
5:13And together also idly they learn to go around the houses; but not only idle, but also in prating and useless works, speaking the things they must not.
5:14I prefer then younger ones to marry, to bear children, to manage the home, not one opportunity to give to the adversary reviling favor.
5:15For already some were turned aside after Satan.
5:16If any believing man or believing woman have widows, assist them, and do not weigh down the assembly; that it should assist the ones really widows!
5:17Let the elders being well in charge be worthy of double honor, especially the ones tiring in the word and instruction!
5:18For the scripture says, You shall not muzzle an ox threshing. And, The worker is worthy of his wage.
5:19Do not welcome from outside a charge against an elder, unless by two or three witnesses!
5:20The ones sinning reprove before all, that also the rest should have fear!
5:21I testify before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the chosen angels, that these things you should guard, separate from prejudice, nothing doing by inclination.
5:22A hand quickly place upon no one! nor participate with sins of strangers! keep yourself pure!
5:23No longer drink water, but use a little wine because of your stomach, and your frequent sicknesses!
5:24Of some men the sins are exposed to view, leading before to judgment; but some also follow after.
5:25Likewise also the good works are exposed to view, and the ones otherwise having taken place are not able to be hid.
