1 Corinthians 15

15:1But I make known to you, brethren, the good news which I announced as good news to you, which also you received, in which also you stand,

15:2through which also you are being delivered, if you take control what word I announced as good news to you, outside of unless in vain you believed.

15:3For I delivered up to you at first which also I received; that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

15:4and that he was entombed, and that he was raised in the third day, according to the scriptures;

15:5and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.

15:6Thereupon he appeared to above five hundred brethren at once, of whom the most remain until now, but some also are fallen asleep.

15:7Thereupon he appeared to James, then to all the apostles.

15:8And last of all, just as if to a miscarriage, he appeared also to me.

15:9For I am the least of the apostles, who I am not fit to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the assembly of God.

15:10But by favor of God I am what I am, and his favor which was towards me has not become empty; but more extra than them all I tire in labor; but not I, but the favor of God with me.

15:11Whether then I, or whether they, so we proclaim and so you believed.

15:12And if Christ is proclaimed, that from the dead he has been raised, how say some among you that there is not a resurrection of the dead?

15:13And if there is not a resurrection of the dead, not even Christ has been raised.

15:14And if Christ has not been raised, then our proclamation is empty, and empty also is the belief of yours.

15:15And we are found even as false witnesses of God, for we witnessed concerning God that he raised the Christ; whom he raised not, if indeed it is so the dead are not raised.

15:16For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised.

15:17And if Christ has not been raised, the belief of yours is in vain; you are still in your sins.

15:18And then the ones having been fallen asleep in Christ perished.

15:19If in this life only we are hoping in Christ, more pitiable than all men are we.

15:20But now Christ has been raised from the dead, he became first-fruit of the ones sleeping.

15:21For since through man death came, and through man there is resurrection of the dead.

15:22For as in Adam all die, so also in the Christ all shall be restored to life.

15:23But each in his own order; the first-fruit is Christ, thereupon the ones of the Christ at his arrival.

15:24Then the end, whenever he should have delivered up the kingdom to the God and father; whenever he should clear away all rule, and all authority, and power.

15:25For it is necessary for him to reign until of which ever time he should have put all the enemies under his feet.

15:26The last enemy cleared away is death.

15:27For all things he subjected under his feet. But whenever it should say that all things have been subjected, it is manifest that it is outside of the one subjecting to him all things.

15:28And whenever all things should be subjected to him, then also he himself, the son, shall be subjected to the one having subjected to him all the things, that God should be the all in all.

15:29Since what shall the ones being immersed for the dead do if wholly the dead are not raised? Why also are they immersed for the dead?

15:30Why also are we exposed to danger every hour?

15:31Daily I die by your boasting, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord.

15:32If according to man I fought with wild beasts in Ephesus, what benefit is it to me if the dead are not raised? We should eat and drink, for tomorrow we die?

15:33Be not misled; evil companionships corrupt gracious morals.

15:34Sober up righteously, and do not sin! for some have an ignorance of God -- to your shame I speak.

15:35But someone will say, How are the dead raised? and with what kind of body do they come?

15:36Fool, what you sow is not restored to life unless it should die.

15:37And what you sowed is not the body coming to pass you sowed, but a bare kernel; if by chance grain or some of the rest;

15:38and God gives to it a body as he wants, and to each of the seeds its own body.

15:39Not every flesh is the same flesh, but indeed other flesh is of men, and another flesh of cattle, and another of fishes, and another of birds,

15:40and heavenly bodies, and earthly bodies. But another indeed is the glory of the heavenlies, and another is the ones of the earthly.

15:41Another glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for star from star differs in glory.

15:42So also the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruptibility.

15:43It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power.

15:44It is sown a physical body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a physical body, and there is a spiritual body.

15:45So also it has been written, The first man Adam became a living soul; the last Adam into a spirit being restored to life.

15:46But the spiritual was not first, but the physical; thereupon the spiritual.

15:47The first man was from out of the earth, of dust; the second man, the Lord of heaven.

15:48Such as the one of dust, such also the ones of dust; and such as the heavenly one, such also the heavenly ones.

15:49And as we wore the image of dust, we shall wear also the image of the heavenly.

15:50But this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood are not able to inherit the kingdom of God, nor can corruption inherit incorruptibility.

15:51Behold, I speak a mystery to you; we shall not indeed all sleep, but all shall be changed,

15:52in an instant, in the blink of an eye, at the last trumpet. For it shall trump, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

15:53For it is necessary this corruption to put on incorruptibility, and this mortal to put on immortality.

15:54But whenever this corruptible should have put on incorruptibility, and this mortal should have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the word having been written, Death was swallowed down in victory.

15:55Where is your sting O death? Where is your victory O Hades?

15:56And the sting of death is sin; and the power of sin is the law.

15:57But to God be favor, to the one giving to us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

15:58So that, my beloved brethren, be settled, immovable, abounding in the work of the Lord at all times! knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.
